國家通訊傳播委員會,為配合我國政府的數位台灣計畫,預計在2009年停播現行類比訊號的電視節目,並且全面數位化所有的電視節目訊號。屆時國內數百萬家庭用戶,可以選擇汰換原有電視為數位電視,或是加裝一台數位機上盒在原來的舊型電視上,來收看數位訊號的電視節目。 本論文的研究主題為數位機上盒的遙控切換頻道功能,透過移植和撰寫Philips TDA6403A調諧器驅動程式及IrDA 遙控器的驅動程式在原有的機上盒架構上,並增加紅外線傳輸協定的接收器測試程式在應用程式層,來驗證傳送和接收兩項功能,了解遙控切換頻道的整體功能是否正常運作,以及透過切換頻道的應用程式介面,傳遞訊息至數位電視調諧器的驅動程式,再反應給數位電視調諧器的硬體電路作出相對應的動作以鎖定頻率接收訊號,使得電視訊號得以呈現出畫面
In order to facilitate e-Taiwan Project for administration, the National Communication Commission (NCC) plan to halt the current analog- based TV programs, completely. The new era of TV programs will be fully digital. By then, million of TV viewer, can either choose to replace the original analog TV with digital TV or they may add a set-top-box on the original TV for digital-to-analog conversion. The thesis studies the remote control firmware structure in the digital set-top-box through porting and rewriting the Philips TDA6403A tuner driver and IrDA remote controller driver in the original set-top-box firmware structure. An additional at the application level infrared transfer protocol testing program is implemented for verification of the success or failure of the remote control functions in effecting the functions of transmitting and receiving of the IrDA signal. The application program interface of the remote control system will then pass the messages to the tuner driver to be processed. Finally, the tuner hardware circuits could response by locking onto the signal frequency for the display of program on the TV screen.
