物理治療手持式裝置人機介面之使用性評估

摘要


由於人口老化和長期慢性病患者逐年增加,造成民眾對物理治療的需求量越來越大,使得從事物理治療專業人員的工作負荷也越來越高。本研究是以行政院衛生署雙和醫院復健醫學部的物理治療師為研究對象,首先實地觀察物理治療師的現場工作情況與工作負荷。觀察結果發現造成物理治療師工作負荷過度增加的原因為資訊系統提供的臨床資訊不足,或不當的資訊格式。因此本研究針對物理治療師的工作需求,設計出了物理治療師智慧型手持式裝置的Android平台專屬人機介面。本研究也進行了使用性評估,評估方式為問卷以及訪談,以了解物理治療師的想法和建議。評估結果發現,顯示治療師們認為本研究設計的專屬人機介面有助於物理治療師的工作,總體使用性程度明顯高於平均值。此外,本研究也統整治療師利用智慧型手持式裝置取得物理治療臨床資訊的建議項目,如掌握儀器使用狀況、了解病患治療進度、以及取得病患歷史治療資料等。若治療師使用容易攜帶性的智慧型手持式裝置,如平板電腦或智慧型手機,將可取代目前紙本作業,大大有助於增加物理治療的效率以及減輕治療師的工作負荷。

Due to the growth of aging population and chronic patients, demands for physical therapy have been increased. This trend yields heavy workload for physical therapists (PTs). The study aims to develop a human-computer interface on smart handheld devices for reducing the workload of the PTs. A field observation was first conducted to determine the working situations and workloads of PTs in the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Taipei Medical University-Shuang Ho Hospital. It was found that excessive workloads were caused by either a lack of clinical information or an inappropriate information format. Therefore, a prototype of user interfaces for solving these problems was designed, and its usability was evaluated through the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire distributed to the PTs. Results showed that the overall score of the questionnaire has significantly higher than the average value that indicates PTs acceptance of the proposed user interfaces. In addition, results from PTs’ feedback suggested that further functions, such as the displays of machine status, progress of patients and patient medical histories can be integrated into the proposed user interfaces. It is anticipated that the proposed approach can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of physical therapies and can replace current practice by using papers.
