射出成形模具均溫急冷技術之研究

Research of Unifying Mold Temperature Distribution and Reduction of Cooling Time in Injection Molding

摘要


塑膠製品是日常生活中最普遍的產品,在塑膠射出成型技術日益進步下,許多產品講求輕、薄、短、小和大量製造,顯著的表示出快速生產又兼顧品質水準的要求。射出成型週期又以冷卻階段所費時間最長,同時模具溫度的控制影響成品的成形性與成形效率,如何能有效快速冷卻同時又不會造成溫度不均勻的發生,才能達到縮短開模時間又不影響成形品質,將是本研究探討的方向。本論文提出利用熱管的高熱傳導特性,將均溫與急冷熱管的裝置新構想嘗試加設在一般模具冷卻機構上,結果顯示此一新式的冷卻方法,不但能夠局部快速帶走模穴附近的熱量,亦能將潛藏溫度差的地方,展現出均溫效果。 本研究透過模型類比實驗及數值模擬,驗證上述熱管對模具冷卻所造成的影響。成功表現出熱管具有緩和溫度差曲線的趨勢及依照不同作用方式會有不的效果。均溫熱管在實際類比實驗下能將對角線距離長11.4公分處的兩位置的溫差,有效抑制其變化;而在理想參數設定下,數值模擬在減少溫差上效果更顯著。急冷熱管與均溫熱管同時的安裝於類比實驗的最佳結果和模擬的結果顯示,將有效縮短冷卻時間。結果表示出熱管的潛在功效。

The plastic goods become the most general products in daily life. The plastic injection molding technology changes with each passing day. A lot of products are toward light, thin, short, small and massive manufactures. It is important to require fast manufacture and keep nice quality at the same time. The “part cooling” process spends the longest time in the injection molding process. Mold temperature control will affect efficiency and quality at shaping. How to cool down fast and doesn’t to lead temperature difference in the moment. This will shorten time of the mould making and not to destroy the quality of products. In this study, a new cooling device is proposed. The devices are “uniform-temperature” heat pipes and “rapid-cooling” heat pipes. To using heat pipes, taking the advantage of the high conductivity, and adding on the existing cool the mold blocks currently. The result shows this new idea can remove heat locally and reduce temperature difference. This research used analog experimental examination and numerical simulation to verify the heat pipes can make influence to mold. Heat pipe can mitigate possible current of temperature difference cure and have the different effect according to the different setting way. The “uniform-temperature” heat pipes can suppress the temperature difference when the length of diagonal line is 11.4 cm. The setting both the “rapid-cooling” heat pipes and “uniform-temperature” heat pipes reduce the cooling time availability. Overall, the two type heat pipes are shown to be effective and potential solutions.
