不同乳化燃料添加定量奈米Al2O3使用在柴油引擎可行性之研究

摘要


為了減少車輛排放的廢氣汙染物對人體造成危害,近幾年來乳化燃料已被廣泛的使用,在超級柴油上添加固定比例的水能有效的減少NOX、黑煙和懸浮粒子之排放,且不需對引擎設計做任何修改。不過水乳化燃料的蒸發潛熱高導致HC排放濃度提高,且因含水的關係燃料使燃油消耗率提高。根據國外文獻顯示,奈米Al2O3具有良好的傳導性也因它比表面積大及高催化能力,是良好的助燃添加劑。因此本研究使用奈米Al2O3作為燃料添加劑添加在水乳化燃料上調製不同比例的奈米混合燃料,其中含水量為3 %、5 %和8 %等三種不同的純水乳化燃料以及在水比例相同的乳化燃料中額外添加50 ppm的奈米Al2O3形成三種奈米混合燃料進行實驗。經實驗結果顯示,含有奈米Al2O3的燃料在引擎性能和廢氣排放上皆比原本的乳化燃料表現的好。因此在水乳化燃料上添加奈米Al2O3可以幫助柴油引擎燃燒以及減少柴油引擎對環境的傷害,值得推廣使用。

In order to reduce pollutant emissions from vehicles, the emulsion fuel has been widely used in several years. Adding fixed proportion of water in diesel can reduce NOX, smoke and particulate matters, and we don’t need to make any modifications to engine design. But the emulsion fuel of latent heat of evaporation causes the concentration of Hydrocarbon to increase. In the other hand, using emulsion fuel results in an increase in brake specific fuel consumption. Some studies shows that nano-aluminum powder has good conductivity but also has large surface area and high catalytic ability to prompt combustion. This study would add nano-aluminum powder into emulsified fuel as a fuel additive to produce kinds of nanoadditive emulsion fuels, including varius percentages of water-contented 3 %, 5 %, 8 % etc. three emulsified fuels and adding 50 ppm Al2O3 nanoparticle into emulsified fuels to make three nanoadditives fuels. The experimental results show that the emulsified fuels with nanoparticle in engine performance and exhaust emissions are better than the original emulsified fuel. Therefore, adding nanoadditive into emulsified fuel can improve engine combustion and reduce emission. It should be prompted.
