Users’ requirements are changing constantly, therefore, with the spirit of User-Centered Design (UCD) and the hope to explore the comprehensive dynamic user requirement, this study aims to propose the analysis and design method of dynamic user requirements of product. The study is based on UCD and timeline concept derived from literature review to establish dynamic requirement analysis method and design method. The assessment can be divided into two stages; the first stage was to conduct an experiment to test the feasibility and effectiveness of UCD operational process, and then two experts were invited to evaluate the design process in the second stage. The experiment was conducted as a workshop to invite 16 designers with more than 2 years’ experience; the participants were divided into groups of 4: 2 groups as experimental groups and 2 as control groups. The theme of the experiment is children chair; data collection, requirement analysis and design method were conducted based on the theme and proposed to parents for interview assessment. The satisfaction feedback was given after the designer’s demonstration. The feasibility of the method was verified by the eight dynamically designed products and experiments, in which the control groups proposed 10 concepts and experimental groups proposed 16. The interview showed that the subjects had preference to the recreational, styling, and functional concepts designed by the experimental groups. As for satisfactory feedback, overall satisfaction and diverse thinking were highly evaluated. The result of expert assessment revealed that this research method could explore comprehensive users’ requirement at different periods, and to provide different and systematic perspectives on design development.
