摘要

在高齡化社會下，台灣的失智人口不斷倍增，而現今對失智症資料的研究尚未有統合性的整理，且也沒有針對失智症為主的資料庫及系統，可以提供醫療單位或是政府進行失智症研究之參考。本研究為建立失智症資訊整合研究平台，收集北部多間區域級以上醫院失智症資料，建置臨床失智症資料庫，藉由本研究平台提供資料登錄、分析、預測等功能，輔助醫生進行相關失智症研究。

本研究平台除了提供醫生登錄失智症臨床檢測量表，亦建置多維度資料檢式模式，便於醫護人員查看資料分佈，並以性別、教育程度及簡易智能量表（Mini-Mental Status Examination, MMSE），建置類神經網路（Artificial Neural Network, ANN）預測模組來辨別阿茲海默氏症（Alzheimer’s dementia, AD）及血管型失智症（vascular dementia, VaD），期望透過本研究提供最便捷的方式預測兩不同類型失智症，對於醫護人員在臨床應用上有所依循，為失智症研究帶來更大幫助。

本失智症資訊整合研究平台為提供醫師良好的資料彙整空間，輔助醫生進行臨床失智症資料分析與預測，促進台灣地區失智症之研究。

A Taiwanese Dementia Society survey revealed that the prevalence of dementia in old age is about 5-6%. According to the dementia research in Taiwan, it’s hardly to find a clinical research database system for dementia. Therefore, we establish an information system to collect clinical research data of dementia from different regional hospitals in Taipei.

In this study, we establish a large-scale database for clinical research; set an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) function for physician to view the data distribution in different ways, and use gender, education level and Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) as the major research tools to build an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) prediction model for classify Alzheimer's Dementia and Vascular Dementia. We hope this prediction model will be helpful in the decision making process of diagnosis.

The result of our study establish a clinical research system for Dementia, and this system will aid physician in decision making and clinical research, even improve the study of dementia in Taiwan.
