摘要


苯、甲苯、乙苯和二甲苯(BTEX)是一非常普遍存在於工業廢水中污染物,其對人體有很深遠的影響,本研究針對以大孔經樹脂吸附水中二成份的BTEX並探討雙成份之間的競爭吸附行為,研究重點包括雙成份批次吸附之平衡與質傳行為,雙成份貫穿吸附之競爭吸附及理論模式各共流吸附程序之探討。 批次實驗主要探討雙成份競爭吸附平衡程式模式及雙成份質傳行為。在雙成份競爭平衡吸附實驗中,吸附質的極性會影響另一成份吸附質的吸附效率,及改變吸附的行為。實驗數據並以Langmuir及Freundlich等溫式來描述雙成份競爭吸附的等溫平衡關係。在質傳行為的方面,簡單的平方推動力模式,可表現各不同組成比例的質傳現象。 連續式吸附實驗是在探討進料流速、不同吸附質比例和進料濃度不同對於吸附系統之影響,利用不同的貫穿曲線模式來描述實驗結果,並利用此模式來預測不同進料流速的貫穿曲線。 樹脂的成本極高,,再生與重覆使用成為另一種重要的課題,本研究也探討不同的再生程序與方法,實驗結果証明以微波爐再生相較於使用溶劑再生省時、省事、操作也簡單。 在共流實驗主要在探討其程序是否比單批次實驗有效,實驗結果顯示此程序對於樹脂的吸附能力有很大的提昇。

The research is to investigate multicomponent adsorption characteristics of benzene , toluene , ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX) from aqueous solution by macroeticular resin . Batch adsorption experiments were conducted to study the competitive adsorption and mass transfer phenomena of various components in the aqueous solution. The continuous experiments breaktrough curves were obtained to verify the theoretical column adsorption models under different operating conditions. Results from experimental tests on cocurrent two-stage adsorption revealed that the multistage adsorption process is significantly more efficient than the single-stage process in saving the amount of adsorbent for the same adsorption duty. The adsorption of BTEX from binary solution mixture was found to be of competitive type. Both the basic competitive Langmuir isotherm and the simplified competitive Freundlich isotherm were found to describe well the equilibrium adsorption data. A lumped mass transfer model based on the squared-driving force principle was seen to describe reasonably well the overall mass transfer process. The column experiments were carried out to study of effects of flow rate, BTEX concentration and composition, and temperature on the adsorption performances. The test results showed that the adsorption breakthrough curves can be described by the modified general logistic, simplified logistic, Wheeler, Richards and Weibull models. With slight modifications, the general logistic model was found to predict fairly well the breakthrough curves under various flow conditions.
