反射式液晶頭戴顯示器之目鏡設計

摘要


由於半導體技術近年來發展已相當成熟,利用半導體技術加以改良所製造的單晶矽液晶顯示面板(反射式液晶),具有製程的彈性化、尺寸縮裝、價格便宜與高開口率,高亮度等優點。所以利用反射式液晶顯示器設計頭戴顯示器未來趨勢。 本論文對不同成像來源及頭載顯示器系統作了介紹,對單晶矽液晶顯示面板頭載顯示器系統之目鏡,作一個完整設計流程為主要課題。藉由顯示器之選定及人眼特性進而利用基本幾何光學公式,推導頭戴顯示器所需要之參數,再利用設計軟體及設計技術設計優化函數且作優化,找到所需最佳值,作出目鏡之優化設計。

The technique of semiconductor has come to its maturity recently. Liquid crystal on silicon ( LCOS ) is produced by ameliorating the technique of semiconductor. LCOS has the most flexibility in its size and appearance. Scale reducing, low price, high aperture ratio and high luminance are other features of it. Therefore, to design head-mounted display by using LCOS devices is the trend in the future. In this paper, the imaging sources and the optical systems of head-mounted display were introduced. LCOS was used in the designing. The eyepieces, key component of the optical system, is the design object. The specifications were made and necessary parameters were obtained by choosing the type of LCOS, its relation to the human eye characteristics and the geometry relation. Then find the starting design of the eyepiece. Finally, by using the design software and design techniques, to design the merit function and do the optimization, we get the optimized design of eyepiece.
