特徵為基方型工件電腦輔助製程規劃系統

摘要


本文提出一個以特徵為基(Feature-based)及物件導向規劃(Object- oriented Planned)的製程規劃系統。本系統的工件資訊是由ICES整合並 行工程系統(Integrated Concurrent Engineering System)中的特徵為基 設計系統所提供工件模式。經製程規劃系統的特徵交疊處理將重疊的特徵 分解減少因特徵交疊所導致刀具空切的區塊。在本研究中規劃了許多製造 資料檔能讓使用者吻合現狀的製造環境資料,使系統產出具適人性及適域 性的製造程序單。譬如在使用提供的加工順序檔中使用者可依其製造設備 及經驗來安排加工製程順位。使用提供的適用刀具檔規劃各特徵之加工刀 具選取的順位。透過製程單欄位設定檔,使用者可依其需求定義製程單上 的欄位,以產生符合使用者要求的製程單,避免冗長無用的資訊。系統更 提供使用者設定刀具合併共用之範圍,以來執行刀具合併共用之規劃以減 少刀具更換次數。本系統架構是以能循序產生中間在製品形狀與規格( Intermediate Workpiece Shape and Specification,IWS/S)為目標規劃 出的階層式製程規劃架構依刀具加工時旋掃體積的不同以及不同製程使用 不同刀具的專家分別規劃了切削特徵類別、製程管理員類別、及刀具管理 員類別。製程管理員類別專司各製程之專屬製程規劃作業,刀具管理員類 別則依不同的加工功能與外形提供選擇刀具的規劃作業而切削特徵類別能 將工件的中間在製品外形與資訊忠實地記錄起來以提供後續規劃作業。本 研究研發的製程規劃系統是構建於ICES整合並行工程系統下的方型工件製 程規劃系統。在 ICES整合並行工程環境下與各子系統銜接暢通,扮演CAD 與CAM之橋樑。透過並行工程的技術使用本系統進行方型工件的製程規劃 可以大幅地縮短產品研發的前置時間及減少設計異常。

An object-oriented computer-aided process planning system forfeature-based prismatic parts is presented in this thesis. The feature-based part model is created from a feature-base design subsystem of an integrated concurrent engineering system, named ICES. The presented system reduces the number of cutting blocks by eliminating the overlapped features cutting space that is resulted from feature overlapping in design phase. The system can be customerized by supplying various user- defined databases and knowledge bases to generate rofessional and pertinent process plan.According to a range specification for sharing tools, supplied by the users,the system thus assign several processes share the same tool to reduce tool changing. In this research, a hierarchial process planning framework, which emphasizes and generates information of intermediate workpiece shapes and specifications, is proposed. Based on the concept of swept volumes of tool movements, different machining process, and various tools, the system defines CutRegion3D class, ProcessManager class, and ToolManager class. ProcessManager class, and ToolManager class. ProcessManager class is designated to management each machining process. ToolManager class is designated for tool selection, which is proceded by analying shape and function of each feature. CutRegion3D class provides information and shape of intermediate workpiece during manufacturing process, which plays an important role in the related engineerings processes. The presented process planning system for prismatic parts is a sub-system of ICES, the integrated concurrent engineering system ,to facilitate concrrent engineering to reduce the lead- time of developing new products and avoid improper design.
