摘要


摘要 在太空科技發達的今天,氣象衛星扮演著一個重要的角色,數十顆氣象衛星每天不停的傳送即時氣象資訊,供人們做為判斷天氣變化及防範天災的參考依據,這些氣象衛星資訊的接收擷取是完全免付費的,而且有完全公開的訊號格式資料,是做為衛星通訊教學及實驗的最好入門實務教材。但整套氣象衛星接收設備卻十分昂貴,造成這項資源無法輕易的在學生實驗室及老師的教學上所應用。在本研究計劃低軌道氣象衛星接收系統中,即是在探討降低接收設備成本的方法,包括自製衛星天線,自製訊號放大器,自製衛星接收機,自製衛星訊號處理器及撰寫影像處理軟體,撰寫衛星軌道計算軟體等等,並提出研究結果評量,包括各部份自製元件的效能分析及衛星圖形影像的品質分析,並與廠製接收設備比較,以證實所提出的低成本方法確實可行。實驗證明整套接收設備成本可降低至8000元,其圖形影像品質與專業設備具相同水準。

Abstract Weather satellites play an important role for promoting aerospace technologies. Based on the weather information collected from tens of continuously transmitting satellites, people can judge weather changes and prevent disaster. Since it is free to get the information from weather satellites and the signal format is fully open, the reception system is a very suitable topic for tuition and experiment of satellite communications. Despite of these benefits, the cost of the weather satellite reception equipment is quite high such that most students and teachers have no budget to buy them. The key issue of this thesis is to explore the methods for reducing the cost of the reception equipment, which includes self-made satellite antenna, self-made signal amplifier, self-made satellite receiver, software programming for image processing, and satellite track calculating. This thesis also evaluates the research result, including the performance of self-made equipment and the quality analysis of image captured by satellite; furthermore, comparing the result with custom-made equipment, our method is shown to be feasible. While the cost of the whole reception equipment is down to NT$ 8,000, the image quality is comparable to that of professional equipment.
