社群運作機制與知識管理導入績效關係之研究

摘要


企業是否能持續維持在該產業的長遠競爭力,關鍵在於企業內知識工作者的品質與數量多寡。唯有將知識轉化成領域專業(Domain Knowledge),才能帶領企業在競爭中掙脫出獨有的企業優勢,換取企業生存契機。換言之,穩健正確地培養企業內知識工作者的質與量,將是企業能否維持穩定獲利的關鍵因素。 Wenger等人以為,第三波的知識管理乃透過實務社群的做法來設計管理知識,它能提供具體的組織基礎建設來實現學習型組織的夢想。實務社群的發展,在國內企業已經逐步展開當中,但現在仍然有許多值得探討的相關課題尚待發掘。如何引導知識管理在企業內部順暢地執行運作,這是一門藝術,也是門技術。 本研究以社群運作機制與知識管理導入績效之關係作一綜合性研究,最後綜合及歸納社群對知識管理導入的成功因素以作為企業界的參考。本研究藉由參考各相關文獻及進行實務訪談,歸納出研究結構後,並深度訪談個案公司內主持社群的負責人或相關負責知識管理事宜的部門窗口(資深工程師或經理人),以及參與社群的部門同仁。最後研究結果為: 1 因「部門式社群」的成員之間容易面對面溝通,並形成新的企業文化。因此,以「部門式社群」對知識管理導入績效較佳。 2 因組織對知識管理的導入策略是以「領導者」為中心的運作模式。因此,以「領導者」對組織的影響也最多。 3 因組織對知識管理的導入策略,初期著重在「實質獎勵」的措施,以吸引同仁的參與。因此,以「實質獎勵」所導入的績效較為迅速,對組織貢獻也最多。 4 因「SPS平台」操作介面較具親和力,使用上較為方便,社群容易彼此分享、討論問題。因此,以「SPS平台」的社群較為活躍,對組織貢獻也最多。

The quality and quantity of the knowledge workers within a corporate determines whether it is able to sustain its long-term competitiveness. Only when a corporate is able to transfer knowledge into Domain Knowledge can it have a notch over the others. In other words, to develop the quality and quantity of the knowledge workers is a deciding factor for the sustainability of profit for a corporate. Wenger et al pointed out that the third wave of knowledge management focuses on designing and managing knowledge through community of practice, which provides a solid foundation for a community of learners. The community of practice has been evolving and developing in the corporate nationally wide. However, there remain many relevant issues to be explored and discussed. How to implement knowledge management in a corporate with ease is an art as well as a technique. The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between community of practice mechanism and performance of knowledge management implementation so as to determine the key component to successful knowledge management implementation. The methodology of this study includes a literature review of the relationship between community of practice mechanism and performance of knowledge management implementation and thereafter analyzes such relationship based on a case study of a corporate. The leaders of the community of practice, the coordinators who were in charge of the knowledge management, and the knowledge workers who participated in the community of practice in the corporate were consulted and interviewed. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1 “Community of practice within a department” is more effective in terms of knowledge management implementation since group members within a department have more access to face-to-face communication and thus forms a new culture in the corporate. 2 The “leaders” have the most influence to community of practice because the implementation of knowledge management is conducted and initiated by them. 3 The “rewarding system” is an effective strategy in terms of the performance of knowledge management implementation and plays significant role in appealing to the knowledge workers especially at the initial stage of the forming of community of practice. 4 The community who use SPS (Share Point Server Platform) are more active and most influential to the corporate because the interface of SPS is highly user friendly for users to share ideas and problem solve as a community.
