在藍芽擴散式網路上具移動性知覺的建構協定

摘要


近幾年來,由於無線通訊技術大幅的進步,使得無線通訊領域的研究與討論十分熱烈,不論是第三代行動通訊(3G) 、802.11 、藍芽(Bluetooth)等,其中在短距離的無線傳輸裝置中,又以藍芽為目前最有可能普及的技術,此技術適用於家庭網路、公司內部、或是小型的展覽會場中,有著其較低廉的成本與低耗電量的特性,無疑的吸引研究者與消費者的注意。 藍芽的技術主要支援單點對單點傳輸(Point-to-Point)以及單點對多點傳輸(Point-to-Multipoint),傳輸前依照Bluetooth Special Interest Group(SIG)所訂的標準必須先建立最小單位的微網路 (Piconet),之後才能做正常的通訊,由於SIG所訂的標準規定一個微網路最多只能有8個裝置同時使用,對於8個裝置以上使用時必須要利用一個以上的微網路建立成擴散式網路 (Scatternet),才能讓藍芽裝置利用路由方式互相傳輸,由於在目前藍芽標準中對於擴散式網路並沒有正式的標準,所以到目前為止這還是一個開放性的議題,近期已經有相關的研究陸續被提出。 由於大多論文考慮藍芽節點均在彼此的通訊範圍??,所以不需考慮到節點的移動性,而移動性事實上仍是為藍芽所需面臨的問題,因此在本篇論文中,我們假設藍芽節點經由定位知道自己的所在位置,藉由此資訊計算出節點的移動速度,並透過我們所提出的有條件角色交換以及微網合併的演算法,經過我們的推導與模擬的結果,發現對於移動性較高的環境裡,對於拓樸架構的穩定性,以及在路由中資料的連通率(Connectivtiy),會明顯的比沒有考量此因素的方法來的好。

For the recent years, the wireless technologies are progressing rapidly, especially for the bluetooth, one of the most popular technologies for short distance wireless communication. With low cost and low power characteristics, this technology is attractive to many researchers and consumers. Bluetooth supports both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint transmissions. According to the SIG(Special Interest Group) standard, the bluetooth devices(nodes) must construct a piconet before the data transmission, and a piconet contains one master and at most seven slaves. Therefore, when the device number is more than eight, we must construct a scatternet through several piconets for the communication. Since the SIG standard has not defined a “scatternet”, it is still an open issue for how to construct a scatternet. At present, most papers assume that all the nodes are in the transmission range of each other and ignore the mobility factors. However, the mobility may cause problems in the real situations. In this thesis, we assume that through the Base stations, the nodes’ positions and velocities can be figured out. Then, we present the Role-Exchange and Piconet-Merging algorithms for the scatternet formation. Through the simulation, we show that our methods will increase the stability of scatternet topology and the connectivity quite well for the mobility environments.
