摘要


隨著行動通訊的蓬勃發展與定位衛星的布建完成,全球定位系統(GPS)的使用已非常普及,惟一般GPS天線因操作頻段關係尺寸稍大,因此本論文的主題之ㄧ即為設計縮小化GPS天線。不同於其它製程較複雜、成本較高的設計方式,吾人採用最簡單的製程步驟設計出天線整體尺寸為30 mm×30 mm以下,且天線效能維持在一定水平的縮小化GPS天線。 本論文的另一天線設計主題為運用在無反射實驗室中的發射端天線,此極寬頻天線稱之為「Ultrawide-bandwidth Bowtie Horn Antenna」,它具備有寬頻、高增益、窄波束等特性。此天線是參考Lai[12]之架構並加以改善,使其頻寬由2~18GHz提升為2~28GHz,且具有穩定的波束寬。

The increasing development of satellite communications has driven the need of antenna design for the applications of Global Positioning System(GPS).Due to its low operational frequency, traditional antenna types are either over-sized or very expensive if high dielectric materials are used. Thus, the goal of this work is to develop an antenna type with small size and low cost in manufacture while in the meantime retaining the performance. In particular, a 30 mm×30 mm antenna is developed to fulfill the GPS operational requirement. Another important subject of this thesis is to develop an Ultrawide -band antenna for the applications in the antenna measurement system. This work employed a bow-tie horn antenna type, that was found to be very wide-band, high gain and narrow beamwidth. In construct to previous work by Lai[12],this work has further optimized the feed structure and improved the operational frequency from 2~18GHz to 2~28GHz while retaining the same gain level. The prototype of the antenna was measured to validate the performance.
