主動式網路之即時傳播流量控制研究

摘要


主動式綱路技術提供一新的思維方式來建置專屬、非標準的綱路服務,然而由於它在每一主動式路由器節點需要相當大的訊息處理時間,因此主動式綱路的實用性具有極大爭議。本論文對主動式綱路提出─Hop - by - hop品質控制之模式,簡稱HHQC,來支援預存多媒體資料作stream模式的傳輸。模擬結果顯示,即使主動式節點會造成相當大的處理延遲,HHQC仍可以有效的減小綱路的jitter,並且在媒體播放速率變動下,HHQC也可以使資料源傳送速率快速反應,使接收端保持良好的播放品質。

Active networking provide a new paradigm for fast deploying defaco network services. However, its praticality is always challenged due to the large processing overhead at each active router node. This thesis propose a Hop - by - hop Qos Control model (HHQC) for an active network to support stream mode transmission of prestored multimedia data. Simulation results show that even though the activer node causes large processing overhead. HHQC can reduce jitter and enable a data source to respond quickly to the media play rate changes.
