摘要

本論文研究之目的，在藉由產業分析及競爭策略分析， 瞭解半導體設備產業現況及未來競爭優勢，歐美日設備商競爭激烈 ，本土設備商將面臨韓國製造商低價競爭威脅，如何面對半導體產業的景氣變化及複雜不確定性，發展出獨特的競爭優勢，透過本研究之建議，提供國內業者未來發展利基之參考。
台灣半導體產業歷經30年的發展，於西元2005年達到新台幣一兆元的產值，在全世界佔有重要的地位。同時，在半導體設備的投資也達到新台幣2000億元的規模。設備供貨交期的縮短與成本的持續降低已成為設備產業為求生存必走之路。
本研究就產業規模、供需狀況、景氣循環來探討半導體設備產業的現況與未來發展趨勢，經由產業分析與外部經營環境分析 做為產業競爭優勢及發展策略之基礎為前提，分析之理論基礎以五力分析及SWOT分析架構，主要探討台灣半導體設備產業的競爭優勢及策略，探討之主題很難以量化的數據來評量 ， 需要對產業環境做宏觀的整體檢視 ， 藉由內部條件分析探討優勢之形成， 將所蒐集的資料依分析架構彙整得到初步結果 ，藉由初、次級資料分析經營策略 ， 提出完整研究報告做成總結 ，以 此為基礎提出對台灣半導體設備產業未來發展的建議。

The purpose of this study is to investigate current situation of Taiwan semiconductor equipment industry and its advantages for future competition. Industry analysis and competitive strategy analysis are being used in the study. This study uses both qualitative and descriptive designs for industry analysis and external business environment analysis. In addition, SWOT and Five Force analysis theories are being used to examine the advantages of domestic semiconductor equipment venders as well as strategies to adapt to the trend of semiconductor industry. We finally provide recommendations for Taiwan semiconductor equipment vendors to develop a niche market.
