因為自由曲面加工技術的成熟,2004年Olympus公司提出以自由曲面稜鏡製作CMOS取像系統之後,成像品質因為使用了自由曲面而提升。許多公司也先後研發了許多CMOS取像系統產品,但是系統的性能仍然需要改良。 在鏡片設計上,我們利用兩個自由曲面的稜鏡來取代傳統多片式鏡片的設計,來達到輕薄短少與降低成本的目的 論文的設計目標是將某一特定CMOS取像系統的畫素提高,並維持、進而提升成像品質。因此先選定一個市面上,使用自由曲面稜鏡的CMOS取像系統當做範例,使用光學軟體Zemax,對範例進行分析與模擬,確認其成像品質與光學架構可行性,再訂出新的顯示元件、視角、等等系統規格,在軟體中對自由曲面稜鏡的七個面做優化設計,優化與分析的結果與範例做對照,確認在實際應用上的品質。最後我們成功地提升了畫素,並改進了系統性能。
Because of the fabrication of the free form surface(FFS) was going to be mature, the image pick-up optical system composed of FFS prism was presented by in 2004. The fact showed that optical performance can be improved by using FFS. For lens design, The conventional multiple lenses system can be replaced by two FFS prisms to minimize the size and to make the cost down. In this thesis, we chose a practical system as an FFS design model to analysis its performance with the design tools of ZEMAX. After that, we first setup a new specification and then optimize the system performance with two prisms composed of seven FFS. Comparing with the original model proposed by Olympus, the number of pixel can successfully increased and the performance of the pick-up system can be improved in final.
