本論文研究關於白光LED作光源應用於背光模組上之頻譜探討,使用TracePro軟體模擬從白光LED光譜到背光模組產生出的光譜變化影響,並與實際量測分析所得值作比較研究,白光LED為使用藍光晶片並添加YAG 螢光粉所製成,並分別將不同波長藍光晶片所產生出的白光LED應用於1.8吋手機用背光模組上,並量測藍光晶片不同波長產生白光對於背光模組整體效應上光譜影響。進而定義出對白光LED使用藍色晶片波長對應於同一模組上波長選定的範圍。
The thesis is studying the effect of LED white light source wavelength on the spectrum of LCD backlight unit. With the help of“ TracePro” software, the result of simulation of light rays emitting from white LEDs to the backlight unit and compared it with the actual measurement of the system. The white LED is obtained by using blue InGaN chip doped with different amount of phosphorus YAG. By using different combination of blue wavelength chip and different mixture of phosphorus YAG, it’s capable of generating different spectrum of white light. The spectrum from the backlight unit for different blue wavelength chip is measured. In this way the range of white light LED wavelength coped with industry standard can be defined.
