西元2000年以來,台灣各大液晶顯示器製造廠開始蓬勃發展,進入大量生產的時期。然而不論是新舊世代的液晶顯示器製程,其生產製造過程都將面臨量產時的製程良率問題。為了提升及穩定製程的良率,液晶顯示器製造廠必須持續不斷的進行生產技術與製程良率的改善。 本研究的改善重點為個案公司被顧客客訴最多的液晶面板框膠膠寬品質,將運用六標準差管理手法的DMAIC流程步驟,針對液晶面板框膠膠寬品質進行改善。首先,將顧客需求轉化為關鍵品質特性並設定改善目標,接著對量測儀器進行量測系統分析(Measurement System Analysis, MSA),並進行製程能力分析,歸納並探討影響製程的關鍵因子。最後再利用實驗設計(Design of Experiments, DOE)來進行實驗,找出最佳的條件參數組合。 製程改善實驗的結果為改善後的框膠膠寬平均值由原本的975.98μm提升至1002.2μm,已經十分接近目標值1000μm。而製程能力指標Cpk值由改善前的0.84提升至1.78,達到Cpk值需大於1.5的改善目標,且本次製程改善並未衍生其他相關品質問題。分析評估專案改善的效益為全年可為個案公司節省約新台幣658.8萬元的內部失敗成本。證明本研究確實能夠有效改善框膠塗佈機製程框膠膠寬的品質。
The major TFT-LCD manufacturers of Taiwan began to flourish from 2000, and moved into mass production at this period. However, both old and new generation of liquid crystal display manufacturing process, would be facing the manufacturing yield problems of the manufacturing production process. In order to enhance and stabilize the process yield, TFT-LCD manufacturers had to improve technical and process of production gradually. The point of this study aims to the quality of LCD panel seal width and will use the Six Sigma DMAIC management practices step flow to improve it. First, we convert the customer demand as the key quality indicator and set up improvement objectives. Next, we conduct a measurement system analysis for the measuring equipment and do analysis for the process capability to summarize and discuss the key factors that affect the process. Finally, we use DOE to conduct experiments and find out the best combination of parameters of conditions. The results of the process improvement experiment is that the seal width average increase from the original 975.98 μm to 1002.2 μm, which is very close to the target of 1000μm. The Cpk value of process capability index has been increased from 0.84 to 1.78 after the improvement and achieved the objectives that Cpk value must be greater than 1.5. The process improvement does not rise other issues in terms of quality. The benefits of the improvement are expected to the fully annual savings for the internal failure costs of production about NT6.588 million dollars for the case study object. This research has been proved that can really improve the quality of the seal width in sealant dispenser process.
