2001年中國大陸加入WTO,市場循序對外開放,隨著外資保險業紛紛在大陸設立據點,更顯現出大陸保險市場無限商機。而台灣保險業歷經數十年的發展及改革,己逐漸朝向國際化、自由化的方向發展,在國內市場飽和、金融自由化的 誘因下,擴張國際版圖,將成為必然趨勢。 隨著2009年11月16日MOU的簽署,兩岸ECFA協商,對台灣保險業西進大陸展開投資,相關的進入策略及方向的規劃執行,實在是值得赴大陸經營的台灣保險業深思的重要議題。爰於這樣的想法,透過相關文獻與資料之分析,作為理論的基礎,最後並歸結出台灣保險業進入大陸市場的策略分析。 本研究結果發現,有意要進入大陸保險市場的台灣保險機構,應評估本身財力條件而選擇適合的進入方式,尤其應該隨時注意兩岸保險政策及不同階段法令變化,適時修正佈局大陸市場策略,以獲取最佳進入市場利益。最後研究者依據研究結果提出採用合資或設立子公司的方式進入大陸保險市場之建議。
China has opened its markets since it joined the World Trade Organization (WTO) in 2001. In terms of the insurance industry, China is a market with great potential owing to the rapid and substantial establishments of foreign-invested insurances companies after its opening up. However, the insurance industry in Taiwan has moved towards internationalization and liberalization after few decades of the developments and reforms on the island. Therefore, it is inevitable to expand into the international markets under the circumstance of the extensive penetration in Taiwan’s local insurance markets. Following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 16th November, 2009 and the negotiations of the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) between Taiwan and China, Taiwan’s insurers should deliberate on the issues such as the entry strategies and the subsequent implementation plans while investing in the China’s markets. The paper presents these subjects by means of the theoretical study of the relevant literature and data analysis and then concludes the optimal strategic analysis. The paper illustrates that Taiwan’s insurers not only choose the suitable way to enter into the China’s market in line with their own financial status, but also have to pay more and special attention to the changes in the insurance strategies and laws at the different stages between China and Taiwan, in order to modify their market strategy accordingly and obtain the insurance profits eventually. Finally, the paper proposes of Joint capital or Sets up the subsidiary company on the entry into the China’s insurance market in accordance with the study result.
