影像處理於人臉偵測之研究

摘要


本論文提出一套可自動從複雜背景彩色影像中擷取出人臉區域及臉部特徵的系統,藉此進而偵測人臉,並以此為基礎以利視訊裝置後續相關技術參考的依據。 首先進行影像中膚色偵測,使用光線補償技術做為本系統的前置處理,接著將正規化的影像轉換至YCbCr的色彩空間上,進行膚色偵測,以達到更好的效果,再來利用型態學斷開運算將其分隔。 進行臉部特徵擷取檢測,在各別的對每個膚色區塊進行人臉比例、嘴巴及眼睛等,進行多層的檢測,逐一的排除非人臉的區域,利用此方式進一步的正確獲得人臉區域,對於本系統所擷取出的資訊,未來可望應用於人臉辨識、表情辨識及行人偵測等延伸應用。

This thesis mainly proposes a system that can automatically acquire the region and features of faces from color image in complex background, and obtain the result of face detection and thus providing more information for future studies in image processing based on this research. The face detection system firstly detects the skin color form the image by using lighting compensation and normalization. The image is transferred into YCbCr color space to improve its effectiveness, and then proceeds to image segmentation with Opening operation of Morphology. The human face ratio, mouth and eyes will be captured from these skin regions and excludes any non-human face region one by one in features of faces. Thus the specific human face region can be acquired successfully. As a result, the information gathered form this proposed system can be used in many applications such as human face recognition, facial expression recognition and pedestrian detection.
