摘要

二十一世紀裡，如何永續經營生活環境是人類面臨的一項重大議題，其中又以溫室效應以及石化能源枯竭問題，為當今急需解決的議題。台灣地狹人稠，天然資源缺乏，要能夠讓住在此土地上的人們有一富裕的生活，必須要有良好的科技基礎。能源問題關係到經濟發展及環境保護。目前台灣大量使用化石燃料，不只是經濟上的問題，二氧化碳排放也是一大問題。
能源科技發展重點在提昇自主能源的比例及降低溫室氣體的排放。為積極推動節能減碳，除政府頒佈「永續能源政策綱領」，並規劃推動「能源國家型科技計畫」、「新能源產業旗艦計畫」等重大計畫，能源產業的發展，將攸關台灣產業的下一波國際競爭契機，同時亦是全國未來新能源運用於節能減碳的必要條件。
目前台灣的智慧電網相關供應鏈族群為新興產業正處萌芽發展階段，本研究將以產業分析的方式，研究智慧電網產業未來發展趨勢，以及台灣產業發展契機，是否能在台灣內需市場中找到利基商機？台灣廠商是否能在這一波全球技術和產業板塊尚未發散之時藉由台灣在全球代工產業的成功經驗，發展出第三個兆元產業？
