高齡使用者產品語意認知研究-以「藥管家」藥盒為例

摘要


高齡者是使用藥物的主要族群,然而因為身心機能的老化導致高齡者容易發生用藥錯誤的行為,藥盒相關產品具有輔助用藥的作用,然而現今少有適合高齡者慢性疾病用藥的藥盒產品出現,「藥管家」藥盒特別為長期服用慢性疾病藥物的高齡者而設計,以一藥一盒的設計概念減少了重複充填藥物的麻煩。本研究主要目的:(一)了解高齡者用藥行為與使用市面藥盒之經驗;分析高齡者用藥行為與過去使用藥盒的經驗藉以了解藥管家是否符合高齡者實際需求;(二)高齡者對於新設計之藥管家藥盒的接受程度;(三)分析高齡者對於藥管家藥盒產品語意認知差異,設計者在產品語意上的傳達是否能讓使用者理解。本研究採用焦點團體訪談法,深入了解高齡者對於使用「藥管家」藥盒經驗的看法。焦點團體訪談進行兩次,每次9位,共計有18位六十五歲以上之受訪者參與。訪談結果發現,在藥盒使用經驗方面,高齡者特別重視藥盒的提示作用,也就是能夠檢視自己是否服過藥。而在「藥管家」接受程度方面,高齡者會以實際使用情境來考量是否能接受新產品。在語意認知差異方面,高齡者既有的經驗會對新產品在語意解讀上產生影響,也就是說完全顛覆既有經驗的新產品將導致語意理解困難的情況發生。

Elderly people are the major customers of using medicine. However, the aging of physical and mental function easily lead to wrong medication behavior. The product such as pill box can support people to taking medicine correctly. But nowadays, few of pill box products are appropriate for elderly people who should take chronic diseases medicine every day. The Pill Manager is designed for long-term use of chronic diseases. “One medicine one box” design concept is order to reduce people refilling medicines into the box. The research objective have three part: (1) to explore the behavior of taking medicine and the experience of elderly people who use pill box. (2)to understand the acceptance of the new designed product Pill Manager to elderly people.(3)to analyze the product semantics cognitive differences between designers and users. We conducted the focus group interview as research method to understand the elderly people’s views about the Pill Manager deeply. The focus group interview conducted twice, the totally number of elderly respondents was 18. The focus group interview result shows that in the aspect of experience of using pill box, we find that elderly people see the reminding as a important purpose of pill box; in the aspect of Pill Manager acceptance, elderly people usually take the actual condition usage into consideration. In the aspect of the difference of product semantic, the elder’s existing experiences will affect the product semantics interpretation in the new designed product. In other words, if the new product overturns the elderly existing cognitive experiences completely, the semantics interpretation will easily be misunderstand.
