企業資源規劃系統(ERP)經過20多年來的發展,已經成為國內大型企業不可或缺的系統,ERP在目前大型企業市場已達飽和的狀況下、各家ERP軟體供應商開始將發展重點拓展至中小型企業市場。 中小型企業對於國內的整體經濟有著非常大的影響力。在導入ERP系統之後對於降低企業經營成本有正面的助益。但是並不是所有的企業在成功導入ERP之後,企業的營運就可以往好的地方進行,導入ERP失敗的案例也很多。因此我們有必要將重點放在ERP系統上線之後的相關活動上 ERP是一個龐大且複雜的軟體,在維護上所要面對的問題相當的多,需要一筆可觀的維護經費,由於中小型企業的資源比大型企業來的缺乏,因此更應該要重視如何降低ERP系統維護的費用。為了達到這個目標,所以了解ERP系統的維護活動以及維護ERP系統的問題確實有其研究的必要與價值。 本研究透過研究一個國內中小型企業使用ERP系統的案例,來深入探討企業使用ERP系統後會產生那些維護的問題,本研究採用訪談的方式來收集資料,經過歸類、比較、分析後得到結論。 經由分析此案例的訪談資料與相關的文件資料後我們對於國內中小型企業使用本土ERP系統後會遭遇到那些維護上的議題有了更深入的瞭解,也了解了傳統軟體維護問題與ERP系統維護問題之間有那些差異存在。
Enterprise resources plan system (ERP) has been developed for more than 20 years. It’s an indispensable system for any domestic Enterprise. Nowadays, ERP has reached saturation conditions in the large Enterprise market. Many ERP software vendors began to focus on small and medium-sized Enterprise market. Small and Medium-size Enterprises have a very large influence on the domestic economy. It is observed that not all successful ERP implementation projects result in successes in ERP post-implementation stage. It is why we need to focus on ERP’s activities after the ERP system is implemented. ERP is a large and complex software. It requires a lot of maintenance costs and has many maintenance problems. In facts, Small and Medium-size Enterprises has less resources than the large Enterprises. Therefore, there is a need to focus on the containment of maintenance costs of the ERP system. To achieve this target, it is important to understand the ERP system maintenance activities and ERP maintenance problems. This study investigated a domestic Small and Medium size Enterprise that is current using ERP systems to understand the ERP maintenance problems. In this study, interview, survey and documentation were adopted to collect data. After this study we have better understanding of ERP maintenance issues for domestic Small and Medium-size Enterprises who use the local ERP system. Moreover, we find that there are differences between in-house software maintenance problems and the ERP system maintenance problems.
