二氧化鈦摻雜Zn2+、Cr3+、Cu2+之特性探討

摘要


本研究將Zn2+、Cu2+、Cr3+等金屬離子摻雜到二氧化鈦樣品中,此二氧化鈦樣品經瑕燒後,會將金屬離子氧化成金屬氧化物的結構,造成材料組成改變,因而影響TiO2樣品的光、電特性表現。首先將P25商用二氧化鈦粉末,加入溶劑配製二氧化鈦溶液,接著加入所要摻雜的金屬離子,如Zn2+、Cu2+、Cr3+等金屬離子至二氧化鈦樣品中,摻雜後之TiO2樣品製成薄膜後,進行材料以及光,電特性探討。由XRD觀察的結果顯示,進行瑕燒時摻雜的Zn2+離子會氧化成ZnO之結晶結構,以及摻雜Cr3+離子會氧化成Cr2O3之結晶結構;由I-V(Current-Voltage)電性曲線的量測結果顯示,不同瑕燒的操作會影響電性曲線的趨勢以及阻值的大小;由UV-Visible的量測,經由計算可知,能隙值經由摻雜Cu2+、Cr3+等金屬離子後,由原本的3.19eV,分別降至3.08eV以及2.70eV。期待藉由此研究的成果,能夠提升二氧化鈦薄膜應用於光電極的效應。

Modification of TiO2 ,doped with Zn2+,Cu2+,Cr3+,were investigated and the characteristics, such as sample structure, electronic, and optical properties, of the modified TiO2 composites were changed before and after thermal treatments. The modified TiO2 samples were prepared from the mix of commercial TiO2 powder(p25) with different types of metal ions. The prepared TiO2 solutions, coated on substrates, were thermally processed to fabricate TiO2 films, which were characterized using different analytical instruments. Results show that the compositions and structures of the metal-ion doped TiO2 samples were changed after heated up to 475℃ from the X-ray diffraction(XRD) analysis. The metal ions can be oxidized as metal oxides and transformed into crystal structures. The presence of the metal oxide compositions can influence the electronic properties of the modified TiO2 films observed by the Current-voltage(I-V) data. In addition, the band gaps of the modified TiO2 samples were altered according to the analysis of UV-vis measurements. The TiO2 modification method can be further utilized to work as an opto-electrode for the application of a solar-hydrogen system.
