重論網路世代大眾小說之發展與性別議題：以暢銷女性作家蝴蝶Seba為例

台灣1990年代後，網路的發展促使文學產生變革，「網路小說」此一新文類成為台灣閱讀市場的新寵兒；文學界亦以「數位文學」為名，針對這波文學變革展開討論。然而，觀察「數位文學」對「網路小說」的相關論述，卻發現其呈現出與常民經驗的斷裂。因此，本文選擇具有高度女性意識、同時也是博客來女性暢銷作者的蝴蝶作為觀察對象，透過女性主義方法論作為核心關懷，試解構文學界現有的「數位文學」論述，將「網路小說」放在「網路世代的大眾文學」脈絡中進行理解，討論網路的發展如何影響女性作家的大眾小說書寫；同時，也藉由蝴蝶這位女性作家的特殊性，以及其成為博客來暢銷作家的過程，指出她的創作軌跡與小說文本內外的性別議題，如何鑲嵌在台灣特定的時空脈絡與情境中，與網路引起的文學變革，以及台灣性別論述的知識建構遙相呼應。本文希望指出，「網路小說」作為一個現象，其價值意義並不在小說文本的文學美學上，而應從文化的角度進行理解：在網路的發展下，文學創作門檻的降低，不僅讓更多一般民眾能夠投入文學創作，同時也讓大眾文學中，原有的性別化之文類邊界鬆動、使女性創作者有更大的創作空間，也促使更多性別議題有機會浮現於網路小說的文本當中。

1990s, World Wide Web promote Taiwan literature change, the new genre of “Net Novel” has become the best-selling literature. Academia use “Digital Novel” to discussing this innovation. But observing the discourse, will find it was very different from most reader’s experience. For this observing, this study choose the female best-selling author Seba whose novel with high female consciousness, and using feminist methodology as research core to deconstruction ”Digital literature” discourse, simultaneously put “Net Novel” back to the development of Taiwan popular novel. Through this, we can understand how WWW influences female-writering. Through Seba’s particularity and the process she became a best-selling author, we can find out her writing course and gender issues in her novel were connected to the specific time background, simultaneously be consistent with the change which caused by internet technology and the development of Taiwan’s gender discourse. We hope to indicate that the characteristic of WWW makes much more people can start writing and publishing, and this change make the gender genre-boundry in popular literature was loosed, so more female author can write with out restriction and more gender issues appear in the “Net Novel”.
