臨床護理人員批判性思考能力與護理能力之相關性研究

摘要


摘要 本研究目的旨在探討臨床護理人員之批判性思考能力與護理能力之相關性。本研究為描述性之研究;以南部某醫學中心臨床護理人員為研究對象,共收案570位,回收率72.6%。研究工具包括「批判性思考能力」與「護理能力」之結構式問卷。以SPSS 12.0 for Windows 進行描述性、單因子變異數分析(one-way ANOVA)、皮爾森積差相關 (Pearson’s correlation)及逐步複迴歸(stepwise multiple regression)等之統計分析。研究結果顯示:(1)護理人員的批判性思考能力總量表得分為40.16±5.95,指標分數為66.9分,屬中等程度,次量表以解釋能力得分最高,其次是驗證評鑑能力,以推論能力得分最差。(2)護理人員的護理能力總量表得分為241.09±31.82,指標分數為70.9分,屬中高程度,次量表以照顧能力得分最高,其次是溝通能力,以研究能力得分最差。(3)護理人員的年齡、工作年資、教育程度及層級職稱與批判性思考能力、護理能力呈顯著性相關。年齡越高、工作年資越長,其批判性思考能力與護理能力越強;護理人員教育程度越高、層級職稱越高,其批判性思考能力和護理能力越好。(4)批判性思考能力與護理能力呈正相關,護理人員的批判性思考能力越高其護理能力越好。(5)批判性思考能力、工作年資、層級職稱和教育程度等四個變項,為護理人員護理能力的重要預測因子,可解釋的總變異量為32.9%。本研究結果可作為未來護理教育界在護理教育課程之規劃及教學方式的參考,以及醫院行政主管在護理人員在職教育之課程規劃與新進人員訓練的參考。 關鍵詞:護理人員、批判性思考、護理能力

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between critical thinking abilities and nursing competencies. The total number of feedback is 570, 72.6 % of feedback rate, from a census to the clinical nurses at a medical center in southern Taiwan.The research tools include the Critical Thinking Ability Scale and the Nursing Competence structural questionnaire. The SPSS 12.0 for Windows software system is used for statistically analyzing with descriptive statistics, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, and Hierarchical Regression.Five of these findings are worth summarizing: (1) the nursing competencies of clinical nurses are medium; (2) the nursing competency is high medium. The age and seniority are higher so do the critical thinking and nursing competencies, same as the education and position of nurses; (3) there are significant relationships among the age, seniority of nurses and nursing competency, critical thinking; (4) the critical thinking and nursing competency have been shown to be positively correlated with one another. The critical thinking goes higher so does the nursing competency; (5) The three important measure factors are critical thinking, seniority and position/title, the total explainable variance is 35.8% . The information may further be reference for the nursing education circles to improve the curriculum plan and teaching methods, so do nursing administrative personnel to continuous and orientation training for nursing staff as well.
