無線感測網路在互動群體交流之應用與研究

摘要


過去互動式藝術作品常被限制在一個有「框」的空間中,無法讓人們在不同地點一起完成互動參與,也無法在過程中做到對參與者的身份辨識。本研究運用無線感測器模組與ad-hoc網路功能,透過ZigBee通訊協定與微處理器設計出無線感測節點(Wireless Sensor Node)佈署在展場內外,形構成裝置所需要的網路傳輸架構。參與者可從展場內外對無線感測節點進行互動,而這些互動行為會組成無線溝通路徑,突破既有的環境限制,達成互動群體交流網絡。 本論文針對無線感測網路在互動群體交流研究提出兩個應用範例。「Let’s Ad hoc過生日」範例目的是讓參與者在不同地點、同一時間進行互動,共同參與互動式藝術作品,主要乃運用無線感測節點的通訊設計與電容式麥克風作為互動裝置,建構一個無線網路感測網。「iFurniture」範例目的是讓參與者能在聚會中從智慧型互動家俱辨識人們之喜好與心情,進而作溝通交流。iFurniture主要是運用無線感測器設計智慧型互動傢俱使其能隱含人們的喜好與心情。此種互動模式不但能促進展場或聚會中人與人之間的交流,也達到互動裝置具有紀錄人們互動行為的功能,以及提供裝置之間訊息溝通的方法。 互動群體交流系統的設計,不但結合了科技與藝術裝置的整合,未來希望此研究能夠運用在不同的場域中,如會議室、居家生活、社交場合、大型戶外展覽、多人互動電影院、…等環境,以及更多的互動藝術作品。

In the past, many interactive art works were often restricted in a space of “frame”. It is difficult for the participants to interact with the art works from different places and even have the identity recognition. In this thesis, we applied wireless sensor network module and ad-hoc network function and integrated zigbee protocol and microcontroller design of wireless sensor node to construct the appropriate transmission network which was needed in the museum. The participants can interact with the wireless sensor nodes deployed in the museum to form the community communication network. Therefore, we focused on the study and application of wireless sensor network in interactive community communication research. We proposed two applications. (1) “Let's Ad hoc Birthday” is not only to apply the wireless sensor nodes and capacitive microphone sensor for the participants can celebrate some friend’s happy birthday from different places, but also solves the communication problems of sensor node in the museum. (2) “iFurniture” is to design a smart and interactive furniture system. When the participants get together, the system can enhance the communication feasibility by the furniture which was designed with the implication of the participants’ hobby and mood. In addition, the system of iFurniture designed a function to record of participant’s interaction behaviors and to provide communication between devices approach. Our interactive community communication system combines technology and installation art. In the future, we hope this research could be applied in different environments, such as conference rooms, living home, social occasions, large-scale exhibition, multi-user interactive cinema, and more interactive art works.
