來自微小生命的訊息-原生生物運動結構之建造

摘要


此系列作品的創作目的是要觀察並進而模擬原生生物生命特徵中的運動(movement)現象。原生生物是地球上最古老的物種之一,且為創作者所熟識。經過萬年的演化過程,原生生物有著單純實用且優美的運動結構如此純粹的運動結構已是一種完整的生命特徵,具備著人造物無法取代的特質。 因此本研究試圖以原生生物為主要的觀察對象,並模擬原生生物自然的運動結構,使此運動結構能夠達到最純粹且具有生命力的特徵。 作品使用無機質之媒材來進行創作,模擬原生生物運動結構,更進一步地讓此結構適應良好地生存於陸地空氣中,創造一個具備有效運動結構且適應陸地環境之新物種。當觀者與仿生體接近時,將在仿生體與觀者間產生不可預期的交流 。 那是種較之人與一般機械裝置間,更具生命力且微妙的互動氛圍。 仿生在當代的詮釋下呈現多種面貌,已非模仿生物這樣單純的目的,仿生概念被用於轉換成多種形式,在藝術這個領域中發展出各種面貌。本創作的目的在於其過程,與生命現象之間的相似之處。基於組織結構的特定流程、基於訊息模型的個體複製、基於運動結構的型態維持,以及通過進化過程形成的適應性。此過程讓筆者體驗了生命形成的艱難、漫長時空中的演變,以及生命運動的美好。

The purpose of the creation of this series is to observe the phenomenon of movement and thus simulate the native characteristics of Protista. Protist is one of the oldest species on Earth, and the creator is also very familiar with it. After billions of years of evolution process, the Protista has a simple, practical and beautiful movement structure. Such a pure movement structure is a complete life characteristics, that artificialities could not be replaced. Therefore, Protista is the main object of observation in this study, that we can simulate the movement structure of Protista natively to make this movement structure achieves the purest and vitality characteristics. The Creation is to simulate the Protista movement structure using inorganic media; and further. Let it to adapt and survive well in the land-based air, it will be a new species of the terrestrial environment with an effective campaign structure . When viewers get to be close to the bionic body, unpredictable communications will be happened. Compared with the human and the general machinery, that is a much more vitality and subtle interactive atmosphere. Bionics is given more than one interpretations, it has multiple patterns in the contemporary and is not such a simple purpose to imitate the biological .This concept is used to transform into various forms, and is developed variety veins in the domain of Art. For me, the creation focus on it’s process .The similarities with the phenomenon of life :The specific flow path based on an organizational structure, the individual reproduce based on a information model, the maintenance of pattern besed on a movement structure and the adaption via the course of evolution .These processes, let me experienced the hardship of established life, the evolvement in a very long space-time and the glorious of zoetic activity.
