摘要


對於環境不斷的衝擊下,我常對自己存在的意義產生緊張與焦慮情緒。置身 在慾望流動的社會裡,我們不免迷失自我,隨著這流動載浮載沉,身體主體不斷 被各種意識型態肢解分割,隨著我們的意識一同分散流入這物質世界。 這些綜合的意識形成一股巨大的變異體,同時混合著你我他各自不同的慾望 -內在慾望就像是一股無限蔓延的原始能量,深植在我們內心;我於是想去探究 理解,身體在流動的慾望之下所面臨的種種變化以及失真程度。 近代由於科技的進步,媒體與權力的干涉造成群眾身體與體制逐漸共構為框 架-這個框架不斷同時向外並向內擴展延伸,將身體化約為一個空間,並在這空 間裡連結了所有人的意識,侵蝕了個體的「存在本質」,卻形成一個另一種集體 意識建築出的慾望身體。因此我創作以企圖打破這個框架,探索「超越」並找尋 「本質」。

For I have always been confused and anxious about searching the meaning of my own existence beneath all the conflicts and impact stretched within the society. Living in a world streaming under the desire nowadays, it seems to be more difficult for us to not to drown ourselves within it. Sometimes I feel like that we cannot help but only to drift along with the system behind the torrent of desire, where we easily lose ourselves. Our physical body as a subject is therefore dismembered by all kinds of ideologies or isms, and is scattered over the physical world along with our consciousnesses. All these consciousnesses will eventually merge with each other and become one enormous variant, wherein our desires would coexist-all our internal desire is like a primitive energy flourishing infinitely, and profoundly roots in our minds. Therefore it raises my curiosity and intention to explore all the possible variations and distortions of our body beneath the stream of desire. Due to the rapid development of technology in recent years, media control and authority interference have constructed a box composed of both human body and system-this box continues to expand and spread both internally and externally, keeps corroding our 「being」 as an individual, and shapes the body of desire by another genre of group consciousness. This is exactly why I always try to use my artwork to break the box, explore the new place as 「transcendent」 and search for the purity of 「being」.
