論博物館展示中的文物從實體到虛擬
The Transition of the Role of Museum Exhibitions: from Physical to Virtual
摘要
順應科技發展後所帶來的資訊革命潮流，數位化的運動正在全世界蓬勃發展，博物館界不例外地也搭上這股熱潮。對實體博物館、人與社會族群而言，數位博物館被期待更具文化潛能、更具影響力。數位博物館和實體博物館各自代表著知識的平面性和立體性；能帶給觀者較強烈視覺印象的當然是立體的實體博物館，而數位博物館在目前屬於較平面式的知覺經驗，卻能提供更自由的使用存取及多層次的知識詮釋。但未來的發展呢？能節省龐大資源空間的數位博物館會取代實體博物館？或者實體博物館的真實性終究無可取代？抑或兩者依舊攜手並存？在未來也可能朝向各自獨立發展的局面。 本文首先整理博物館發展的演進過程，嘗試依年代分析歸納成幾個不同階段，並簡介各時期特徵。另一方面則整理過去博物館學研究的相關議題，企圖就數位化科技對博物館文物在過去幾年所被討論已做或具潛力的貢獻做整理，做一回顧並供未來研究方向之參考。對博物館數位化發展做簡單的介紹，對其特色加以說明，檢視其對傳統實體博物館造成的影響，再與傳統的實體博物館做一些交叉比較，探討兩者各自的優點與互補之處，希望能對博物館的「虛擬與真實」達成進一步的瞭解與詮釋。期望兩者之間能截長補短，相互激盪，並發展出全新的樣貌。

The digital revolution, driven by the information revolution in the twentieth century, has become an overwhelming trend all over the world. Museums, important on the representation and interpretation of all kinds of information, are undoubtedly involved in the developments of the digital revolution. This research makes a brief review on the developments and characteristics of digital museums in recent years. Furthermore, a comparison and contrast between the museums in the digital space and those in the concrete space are concerned. I argue that from the comparison and contrast between these two kinds of museum, the issues on the role of museums can be more carefully examined and more clearly considered. The analysis of this research is primarily based on theory study and relevant documents.
