箏與箏樂：文化性與符號性

摘要

本研究嘗試從樂器學的角度，探討各種與箏相關的研究議題，並檢視在樂曲之外，箏做為一項樂器所隱含的精神向度之美學意涵與樂器本身在文化脈絡中存在的依循結構。
本文總共分為五章，除了第一章〈緒論〉說明研究動機與範圍、主題陳述、研究範圍與架構外，第二到第五章分為兩部分加以討論。前兩章（第二、三章）的「文化性」（Culturation），以文化背景的角度討論箏的命名與起源之外，也從文化角色的觀點探究類型、形制與使用等內容；後兩章（四、五章）第二部分的「符號性」（Semiotics），以樂器、樂譜與音樂的符號性為研究對象。企盼透過此兩類觀點之詮釋，能更深刻的理解箏與箏樂之文化表徵。
