本論述以質疑「創作論述如何可能」作為起點,提出創作主體的不可窮盡,創作行為及作品只是其部份的延伸,過度的詮釋會窒礙了主體與作品開放性的關係,導致創造之消亡。傳統的論述用以確立作品在體制中的合法性為目的,但是藝術的革命性質在於與既有的判準決裂,作品應如何被論述,成為一個相互矛盾的難題。論述作為閱讀作品的參照,不應只是對作品作僵化的詮釋,而是尋求一種能與作品對應的語言,形構開放性的閱讀過程。 從自身成長背景所形成的一種「邊緣」身份,出走經驗,以及原鄉的不可得。在東奔西走的個體之內,隱含著一個匱乏缺欠的主體。流浪的人把自身的漂盪寄託在他者之上,透過深淵一般的距離與動物互相凝視,在眼神中找到既熟悉又陌生的感覺,動物的生存在人類的文明裡被高度邊緣化,與人類產生互為主體的關係。 自古典時代開始,秩序與理性以外的事物都被排拒與放逐在文明之外,在現代精神病學當道之下,個人的身體及情感更被割裂及予以否定,無法自我完滿。作為時代的病徵,被視為不正當的情感,本論述嘗試重新理解憂鬱的內涵,以及作為創作動機的意義所在,以圖達到自我的整合。 在游離的狀態之下,創作者融入作品之中,日常所經驗的時間從其中退卻,社會身份暫時被剝奪,回到純粹的本質狀態裡,經驗全然的臨在。在微小的複習中,作品如同交件紀錄著自我的失敗、創作之不能,生命持續在其中,寄望著轉化與生成。
The thesis begins with a question of “How was creation discourse possible”? While the creative subject cannot be vanished by verbal expression, interpreting the artworks rigidly might congeal the creativity of the subject and the works. The legitimacy of artworks should be measured with how much it broken up with the norms rather than to fulfill the requirements. Writing of discourse should not be limited by the format founded by the academy. The discourse was an attempt to find out a suitable language for the works, which was to enrich the looking and reading experience, rather than to fix their meanings. With my historical background, I didn’t belong to any countries, species, languages or gender. I always have a sense of “marginal identity” that is nowhere I belong to. Escape from the original place may be one of the ways to achieve peacefulness of the soul. The journey started but did not come to an end. The individual becomes more alienated with the environment and people, and even with the self. The subject projected her mantel state to the stray animals, whose survival has been highly marginalized in the civilization. Through their eyes of innocent, human being found the companionship that heals the broken inner self. Since the classical era, things beyond reason and order were prohibited and exile outside the border. Psychiatry nowadays tends to divided body and emotion into pieces, sentimental feelings were restricted by medical treatment. Melancholic as a common illness of this era has it own pathology, it also recognized as an origin of creation. The creative subject was a nomad in daily life, within the critical point of creation, her social identity was absent and the ego on longer exists. Through the movement of drawings, the self was vanished in the space and time and replaced by the trace of lines.
