愛咪．畢琦鋼琴個性小品之研究與詮釋-以作品六、作品九十二為例

摘要

愛咪．畢琦（Amy Marcy Beach, 1867-1944），是美國第一位成功創作大型音樂作品的女性作曲家兼鋼琴家，其筆下作品數量亦不在少數，當中不乏有許多名作。她的作品傳承了十九世紀浪漫樂派的風格，並且加上個人獨特又鮮明的音樂語法，使她在當時代成為一位受到世人高度肯定的音樂家。

本論文研究核心建立於畢琦的鋼琴個性小品之上，由於本論文提出的兩首鋼琴作品其創作靈感以文學詩作為譜曲的藍本；除了以詩的文學作品為輔，嘗試深入了解詩的內容意境，且藉由樂曲形式風格以及演出詮釋的內化分析，試圖歸納出這位身兼女性鋼琴家及作曲家的個人音樂創作風格；期望藉由這份文件研究，能進一步了解畢琦的音樂，讓社會大眾更加了解女性音樂家的思想觀感和音樂意涵。

本論文分為四章來探究，第一章介紹畢琦的生平和音樂手法特色，來了解她的創作歷程與理念；第二章為鋼琴敘事曲的分析與詮釋，第三章和第四章則為鋼琴個性小品編號九十二的分析與詮釋；最後以簡短的結語作為本文總結。

Amy Beach is the first renowned American woman to experience large-scale success as a composer and concert pianist. Her works combine the Nineteenth-Century Romantic style and her own unique music language.

The main focus of this paper is to find out Amy Beach’s music character and style by thorough analysis and study of the form and content of the pieces. Besides, the two pieces which discussed in this paper were also tied closely to English poetry.

The biographical information of Amy Beach is stated in Chapter One. Chapter Two contains the cultural background of the composer and followed by a discussion of related literature. Chapter Three and Four are the analysis and interpretation of Amy’s Ballade and Characteristic piece op.92. And lastly, this paper ends with a brief conclusion.
