This study aims to explore a key topic which is to discuss how the Subject being waken by the matter of city when he confronts with the city he lives in and its alienating state . In the artworks 《The City Complement Project》and 《Charlot》, the creator uses the viewpoint of the image and the narrative to create the texture and the matter of the borderland in the city . Presenting how the city real like and expressing how him thought . Through the artworks , the creator could discuss how to use the montage and the setting of the image to let character apart from the scene and to let the endless narratives into closed state . In this way the creator could makes himself undergoing an othering process through the disposing of images . This has become a physical strategy to adapt himself to the environment .
