柔性反撲—困縛的身體樣態及權力翻轉

摘要


本論述自個人1997年至2008年期間的創作出發,統整個人的創作觀點,詳述作品的創作源由、作品間的脈絡關係,並藉著參考文獻的擷錄並置,包含女性主義、現象學、身體、影像、攝影、當代藝術等相關論述,作為個人創作的參照。 個人創作裡身體反撲的抗力,源自個人困縛的身體感,在作品裡形成苦痛的身體感染力量,並將現實中的身體困境赤裸呈現,同時也延伸至他者身體的對應比擬。個人逐步形成的身體觀點及未來創作方向,也以探討身體所欲反抗的權力關係為主,並由性別關係對陰性身體的壓迫,逐漸轉向關注媒體、影像與身體之間的對應關係。 本論述第一章詳述個人創作觀點,身體作為創作的重要媒介,讓現實生活與創作活動媒合,而以「現實的身體」、「創作者的身體」、「概念的身體」等三種不同狀態交疊出現在創作活動裡。第二章為個人透過創作實踐逐漸形成的身體觀察及思維,由個人歷年創作對應出的陰性身體系譜,延伸到當代生活中的身體實境-媒體對身體的消除,並拋出由藝術展開身體反抗的可能性。第三章從創作方法、媒材使用的角度,談論個人創作歷程裡,媒介轉變與身體的對應關係,分別為「繪畫-身體圖像」、「纖維材質-身體知覺」、「縫紉、日常行為-身體運動」、「影像-身體表象」。第四章以不同期間的創作階段分述個人作品,談論創作所實踐出的身體面向。第五章總述個人1997年至2008年期間的創作概況,包含作品特質、作品已實踐及未盡之身體觀點,並提出未來可能的創作方向。

This elaboration is about my works between 1997 to 2008.It contains my creation viewpoint, the main idea, and the relation between works. I mentioned the feminism, the phenomenology, the body, the image, the photography, contemporary art in the elaboration for reference. The resistant strength to the traditional authority in my works was coming from my repressed feeling. I present the repressed, painful consciousness to discover the bare life in the reality, and to respond the other people who feel the same. The viewpoint of body and the creation direction was formed in the process of creating. It is also about the resistance to kinds of authority relations. And the authority relations I reffered to, was changed from gender relations to the relations between the media and the body. The first chapter outlines the individual initiative viewpoint, the body takes the creation the important medium, lets the real life and the creation intermediary gathers, and by “the reality body”, “creator's body”, “the concept body” three different condition overlaps appear in creation. The second chapter is about my viewpoint of body, from the art history of feminism to the bodily position in the contemporary life- the media had a great effect upon the body, and describe the possibility of bodily resistence in works.The third chapter from the creation method and the material, discusses in the individual initiative course, the medium transformation and body's corresponding relationships, divide state are “the drawing - body image”, “textile fiber - body consciousness”, “tailoring, the daily behavior - body movement”, “the image - body representation”. The fourth chapter States individual work by three kind of different creation stage .The fifth chapter summarize individual work, the creation type to change, the creation viewpoint in the work practice condition, and propose the possible creation direction in the future.
