青春紀念碑－成長中的苦難和幸福

藉由「青春紀念碑-成長中的苦難與幸福」來檢視內心的心理狀態與變化，探索成長過程中，「家庭」如何影響我的價值觀和人生。關注的議題以「幸福/親情/體驗/貧窮」為主題，在構思作品的思考中，觀察記錄家人在面對外在困境（難以扭轉的宿命）時，由內而外展現出看似平凡卻積極的人生態度，哪些影響了、形塑了我內在的價值觀？「幸福/親情」：小時候有感受到家庭的溫馨與關懷，長大遇到困難的時候，這股根生的溫暖親情會轉化成解決問題的力量，幫助走出人生的低潮，繼續往自己的夢想前進。「體驗/貧窮」：觀察記錄家人面對貧窮的態度和自己體驗貧窮的心得。遇到困難才有機會學習解決問題，才懂得珍惜與滿足、同情與謙虛、承擔與變通、付出與收穫。

The present thesis “Youth Monument —Hardship and Happiness in Growing-Up” aims to inspect the change and the psychological state of the artist’s mind and to explore, in the process of growing-up, how “family” affects her in forming her personal value system toward the world and her life. All the art motifs focus on issues concerning with “happiness/family/experience/ poverty.” Observing and recording how the family reacted to irreversible fates when facing external difficulties—the seemingly common but actually active attitudes towards life—help the artist brew and from her art works. Happiness/Family—a child having received the warmth and the caring from family will have the power to cope with difficulties when growing up. The rooted warmth coming from the family would transform into the problem-solving power to go through the low ebb of life and forge towards to realize her dreams. Experience/ Poverty—Observing and recording the family’s attitudes towards poverty and the artist’s self-reflections after experiencing poverty. It is when one incounters difficulties that he/she would have the chances to learn how to solve probems, hence learns to cherish, understand the value of being contented with what he/she has. Only when one underwent hardship, can he/she learn to be compassionate and humble, be responsible and flexible, and has the ability to give and take.
