本文論以藝術家創作的實踐主體進行書寫,除了談論到自身的創作歷程以及分析碩士階段的創作作品之外,並且舉例在藝術史中錄像藝術的作品或是電影,來對整體文章內容和廣泛的錄像創作進行某種程度上的整合。正文中即談到創作觀或是自己如何閱讀作品,對錄像可能的未來也畫出輪廓。附錄則試圖談論自己思考背景,圍繞在各種社會實踐的影像媒介中,其他分別以錄像藝術的文獻資料收集分析、電視傳播等媒體的省思。此外,以某種左翼精神試圖喚起藝術家在創作上的自覺,並以融合文化批判、藝術史(作品)、歷史事件等來轉化為藝術創作的能動;事實上,文論內容即等於藝術家的思想背景,在此之上展開對於藝術創作的發展。藝術家關懷社會的脈動,以及以一個知識份子的態度來面對當代的各種情境,試圖擴展某些影像創作,並找尋錄像藝術在未來如何可能?
This M.A. thesis is written and based on the active subject of my art creation experience, referring to my creative career and discussion of the process of production of my works done during my graduate period. Related video art or cinema works from other authors would also be given to see how I transplant or integrate their content into mine. In my thesis, I explain my concept of creation and how I read foresaid works as to try to give a contour of the prospect of video art, I provide further, in the appendix, information about my thinking background which always focus on various social praxis as reflected in video art, Besides, I extend my discussion and analysis on collected documents related to video art, television, communication and media criticism. I utilize some left-wing spirit to evoke my consciousness of creation, and at the same time, absorb some creative energy from works of cultural critique, history of art and even actual historical events, In fact, this thesis is a true record of my thought and from which an expansion of my art creation could be conducted. As an artist and intellect, I think it’s important to take care our social transformation in it’s various situation, my aim is to create some(video) image and seek a way possible for video art in the future.
