Abstract

This purpose of research is to explore the Taiwan Traditional Music knowledge of Music Teacher at Junior High School An Example of Taipei City and New Taipei City
It also investigated nine background variables of these subjects to understand their difference.
The survey method was utilized in this study. The instrument was a self-designed questionnaire. The subjects were music teachers who taught at the junior high schools in Taipei city and New Taipei City. Using the method of stratified random sampling, 214 questionnaires were sent out and 200copies were returned. The recover rate was 88.3 %.

Conclusions from this study are summarized as follows :

1. Taiwan traditional music knowledge in Taipei City and New Taipei City at Junior High School of Music Teacher` s perception have higher than medium level.

2. Junior High Schools Music Teacher of Taiwan traditional music teaching of personal different background integrates into teaching situation are difference.

3.Junior High Schools Music Teacher of Taiwan traditional music teaching of personal different background integrates into duty are difference.

4.Junior High Schools Music Teacher of Taiwan traditional music teaching of personal different background integrates into school record are difference.

5. Junior High Schools Music Teacher of Taiwan traditional music teaching of personal different background integrates into school size are difference.

6. Junior High Schools Music Teacher of Taiwan traditional music teaching of personal different background integrates into research and study are difference.

Based on the above results, the researcher made suggestions to the institution of teacher education program, educational administration, and for future research.
