In this study, a subject was aimed to analyze biomechanic parameters of his rear foot when wearing running shoes with different number spikes on pedal to do crouching starts. In experiment, one track & field male player from college was recruited as subject. VICON motion analysis system (six M2 cameras, sampling rate: 250Hz; one AMTI force plate, sampling rate: 1000Hz) was used to gather and analyze data. Results when the subject wearing running shoes with different number spikes to do crouching starts showed: (1). The reaction times and the times of rear foot pushing pedal were not different. (2). The results of maximum force to push pedal backward, maximum force slope when the force pushing pedal backward, friction coefficient when the force pushing pedal and maximum torque when the subject’s rear foot to push pedal and to do plantar flexion between running shoes with different spikes were different. Moreover, the orders of these results were wearing shoe with eight spikes was the biggest, wearing shoe with five spikes was mid and wearing shoe with seven spikes was the least. As for the results of impulse when force to push pedal backward, these impulse results between running shoes with different spikes were not different. (3). Hip and knee joint’s angle curve values were not different. But ankle joint angle curve values between shoes with different spikes were different. The value of shoe with eight spikes was bigger than the values of shoe with five and seven spikes. As for the length of the first steps, these results were not different. By these results, we could understand several force parameters were different regularly when the subject wearing running shoes with different number spikes. So wearing running shoes with eight spikes or five spikes to train was suggested for the subject. As for the future study, foot pressure analysis could be used to understand the subject’s specific way of rear foot to push pedal. Moreover, more subjects could be recruited and more motions after crouching starts could be analyzed.
