高雄縣心智障礙者之主要照顧者對臨時托育服務使用情形之研究

The research of mental retardation's main caregiver using the respite care in the Kaohsiung County

摘要


本研究目的在於探討高雄縣心智障礙者之主要照顧者特質與其兩者在家庭生命週期的不同需求下,對使用與未使用臨時托育服務之原因相關性。以及分析使用服務的主要照顧者對於縣府臨時托育服務的滿意度;或未使用服務的主要照顧者,需要何種臨時托育服務的協助。研究之母群體為設籍高雄縣之心智障礙者家庭,以心智障礙者的主要照顧者為本研究的研究對象,其抽樣方式採用簡單隨機抽樣,由4600多個名單中利用亂數表法,在95%的信心水準(confidence level)下,與抽樣誤差(confidence interval)在正負5個百分點以內,經研究者以親自訪問的方式,所得有效問卷共355份。 研究結果顯示,高雄縣心智障礙者的就學需求、就業需求、就養需求與不同家庭生命週期具顯著相關,而就醫需求與不同家庭生命週期則不具顯著相關。高雄縣心智障礙者之主要照顧者的支援需求、經濟需求、家庭功能需求、未來生涯規劃需求和不同家庭生命週期具顯著相關,而社區服務需求與不同家庭生命週期則不具顯著相關。高雄縣心智障礙者之主要照顧者在不同背景變項下(與心智障礙者關係、年齡、婚姻狀況、教育程度)對未使用臨時托育服務原因皆具顯著相關。在不同家庭生命週期下,高雄縣心智障礙者需求(就醫需求、就學需求、就業需求、就養需求)對於未使用臨時托育服務原因皆具顯著相關。在不同家庭生命週期下,高雄縣心智障礙者之主要照顧者需求(支援需求、社區服務需求、家庭功能需求、未來生涯規劃需求),除經濟需求外,對於未使用臨時托育服務原因皆具相關性。高雄縣使用臨時托育服務的心智障礙者之主要照顧者,對於臨時托育服務的評價是正向的。台灣實施的臨時托育服務內容,大致上主要照顧者會選擇的服務內容都相似而非多元化,致使其他服務內容效果不彰。 研究建議,高雄縣政府未來可參考修正臨時托育服務政策的方向為: (一) 加強臨時托育服務的宣導。 (二) 加強心智障礙者之主要照顧者對臨時托育服務概念的認識。 (三) 臨時托育服務的項目應更多元化。 (四) 臨時托育服務中到宅服務的照顧服務員應給予其他相關訓練。

The purpose of this research is to explore Kaohsiung County mental retardation’s main caregiver under different background variables, and in different family life cycle, both of main caregiver and mental retardation demands for the use or not used respite care services reasons of relevance. And analysis of the use of respite care services of the main caregiver regarding the county respite care services of satisfaction; or not used respite care services of the main caregiver, which need what kind of respite care services for their assistance. The mother of research groups set up for membership of the Kaohsiung County mental retardation family, and take the main caregiver as object of this research. The sampling method using a simple random sampling from the list of over 4,600 randomly table, 95 percent confidence level, and the sampling error (confidence interval) in less than plus or minus 5 percentage points, to personally visited by the researcher, from a total of 355 valid questionnaires. The results showed that Kaohsiung County mental retardation of the demand for education needs, employment needs, breeding needs and different family life cycle with significant correlations, and medical care needs and different family life cycle is not a significant correlation. Kaohsiung County mental retardation’s main caregiver of the demand for support needs, economic needs, family needs, future career planning needs and different family life cycle with significant correlations, and community service needs and different family life cycle is not a significant correlation. Kaohsiung County mental retardation’s main caregiver under different background variables (different relations, age, marital status, education level) for not used respite care services reasons with significant correlations. In different family life cycle, Kaohsiung County mental retardation demands (medical care needs, education needs, employment needs, breeding needs) for not used respite care services reasons with significant correlations. In different family life cycle, Kaohsiung County mental retardation’s main caregiver demands (support needs, community service needs, family needs, future career planning needs), in addition to economic needs, for not used respite care services reasons with significant correlations. Kaohsiung County, the use of respite care services of the mental retardation’s main caregiver, regarding the respite care services for the evaluation was positive. Taiwan's implementation of the respite care services, generally main caregiver choose the service content are similar rather than diversification, resulting in poor performance of other service content. Recommended in the research, the Kaohsiung County government can refer to respite care services for the policy direction in the future: (A) Enhance the guidance to the respite care services. (B) To strengthen mental retardation’s main caregiver’s cognition about the respite care services concept. (C) The project of respite care services should be multiplexed. (D) The respite care services to home care attendant should be given to other relevant training.
