本創作論述與作品的展現,乃2008年至2010年間的創作研究及其實踐。創作理念命題「凜冽的意象」,緣起於祖父的過世造成心理的衝擊,以及八八水災引來的戰慄心情。如此,筆者在現實的生活情景中找到了創作的題材,從而進入創作思考和作品本質的探討,進行繪畫創作與心靈經驗相互關聯的把握,而從情感的自然流露凝聚繪畫藝術的內容、形塑個人作品的特質。 筆者藉助現象學方法(phenomenology method):「回到事物本身中」去考察、體驗生活這個概念,作為創作研究的途徑。人生難免遭遇上不如意的撞擊,而形成負面性情緒造成內心的顫抖,試圖通過審美的過濾,將其轉化為視覺性的象徵形式,一方面描述心靈的經驗,化約作品,另方面情緒從創作實踐的進程中蒸發、紓解情緒,得到藝術療癒的作用。 本研究與論述,從學域理論和美學觀點的剖析、以及典範的指引,站在理性、客觀的知識基域,展開創作探索和自我發現,並從人道精神、憐憫情懷反思生活境遇,提出積極性的疏導情緒方式,將情感質愫轉換為作品內容,藉由繪畫性符號的表達,進行一種審美活動與創作體現的緩衝,得到情緒的平靜和激發新的生命力,這是本創作研究與實踐所要體現的意義、價值。
This paper, which discusses the performance of works, is based on the research and practice from 2008 to 2010. The work entitled Chilling Image because of the psychological impact caused by the death of Grandfather and the shivering mood induced by the August 8 Flood. After finding real-life subject matters, the author began to ponder the creation of the work and explore the nature of the work, and thereby grasp the associations between painting and spiritual experience in order to embody the content of art and shape the characteristics of a personal work from the natural expression of emotions. With the assistance of the phenomenology method, return to the matter itself, the author investigated and experienced the concept of living as the path for creation and research. The impact of adversities in life is unavoidable, and the resultant negative emotions make us tremble. Attempting to filter these emotions through aesthetics, the author translated these emotions into visual symbols in order to depict the spiritual experience and reduce the work on the one hand, and to heal the wounds with art by vaporizing and releasing these emotions through the realization of creation on the other hand. This study and exposition explore creation and discovery of oneself with analysis based on academic theories and aesthetic views, the guidance of paradigm, and rational and objective basic knowledge; and propose a way for the release of emotions after self-examining the adversities in life in a humanitarian spirit and merciful mindset. By translating emotional elements into the contents of the work, a settlement between aesthetic activities and work realization is initiated through expressions with pictorial symbols, and emotional peace and new power over life is obtained. These are the meanings and values realized in this research and practice.
