摘要


此篇論文將論述兩種不同噴流重建方式之驗證及比較。為了比較兩種重建方 式之優劣及決定未來將要使用的噴流重建方式,我會在 VBF 分析之下呈現我 們的驗證及比較結果。另外,我也會呈現連環對撞對於我們實驗的污染及影響, 並進一步呈現連環對撞的分佈以及它們和 JVT/FJVT 之關係。此驗證是在希格 斯粒子衰變至雙 W 玻色子再進一步衰變為兩個微中子與一個電子與一個渺子的 衰變模式下所完成的。另外,此分析是使用 2015 至 2016 所擷取的 36.2fb−1 的 質子對質子對撞數據和 2017 年所擷取的 44.3fb−1 的質子對質子對撞數據,碰 撞質心能量為 13 TeV。

This paper presents the data collected by Run-2 ATLAS detector with center-of- mass 13 TeV for the VBF analysis. I will show the validation of two jet algorithms for 2015 and 2016 combined data and 2017 data to help us determine which con- struction algorithm we will use for our future analysis. I will also present the pileup contribution for 2015 and 2016 combined data in the VBF phase space and the pileup distribution corresponding to different JVT/FJVT coverage and threshold in order to have a better understanding of the pileup issue.
