We present two methods to obtain the branching ratios of the charmed baryon Lambda_c^+ nonleptonic two body decays: the Factorization and SU(3) flavor symmetry approaches. For the Factorization approach, we focus on the Lambda_c^+ to p and Lambda_c^+ to Lambda transition. While for the SU(3) flavor symmetry approach, we investigate the decays of Lambda_c^+ into an octet baryon and a nonet meson. We use the current experiment data to determine the complex parameters in the reduced amplitudes in order to obtain the branching ratios.
