筆者創作《衰》系列的出發點,來自於面對家人衰老的感觸。因為經歷祖父死亡的衝擊,所以面對祖母的眼睛功能退化時,令筆者感到憂慮,意識到人的生命就是不斷退化的過程。另一方面筆者也思考,當自身生命走到終點時,該如何面對?這些憂慮、思考促使筆者以生命衰亡作為系列創作主題。筆者以熔化的人體,表達生命力的潰散,傳達生命是一段完整至不完整的過程。 本論文分為六章,首先第一章緒論,解釋創作背景與動機,同時呈現研究架構,以及重要名詞解釋。第二章為學理基礎,可分為四個部分。第一部分為生命運作,蒐集不同文化、理論、哲學對於生死的看法。第二部分則以解剖學歷史切入,闡述人類如何觀看與再現死亡。第三部分以符號學分析公仔與現代主義雕塑處理媒材傳達內容的方式,並比較之間的差異。在第二與第三部分,探討相關文獻的同時,將輔以藝術家作為說明。在第四部分,筆者蒐集了跟創作研究相關的文獻,並簡述其內容。在第三章,筆者描述自己的創作理念,並依系列分析表現形式。第四章則解釋筆者使用的媒材,以及展示技法過程。第五章以照片展示創作成果,並簡述之。最後,第六章為整個研究的總結,分析自己可改進的地方,及描述未來展望。
The starting point of the author’s series 「Decline」come from feelings that his family was aging. Because of the impact, the death of his grandfather had on him and when he had to face the degeneration of his grandmother’s eye functions, he was so worried that he then realized that human life is in a constant process of continuous degradation. On the other hand, the author also thinks that when one’s life will come to its end point. How to face this concern? These worries, these deep thoughts impel the author to the decline of life in a series of creative themes. He uses the melting point of a human body to express the defeat and dispersion of life to convey the process of completeness or incompleteness. This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter being the introduction, it explains the creative background and motivation, it also presents the structure of the research and description of the key terms. The second chapter explains the theoretical foundations, which can be divided into four sections – the first section being the operation of life, collecting different cultures, theories, philosophies of life and death. The second section is the anatomical history: it expands how humans look at and represent death. The third section speaks of the semiotic analysis of miniatures and modernist sculptures discussing their ways of processing media and pinpointing their different methods the. In the second and third sections, a literature review will be conducted at the same time, supplemented by the artist’s annotations . In the fourth section, the author collects the literature related to the creative research and briefly describes his own creative ideas and according to a series of analysis form of expression. The fourth chapter explains the use of media, as well as display techniques. The fifth chapter shows the brief creative achievements of photo displays. Finally, chapter six summarizes the entire study, analyzes wherever it can be improved and describe the future perspectives.
