從敘事學分析方法解讀台灣華語教學熱潮

A Narrative Method Criticism of Chinese Trend in Taiwan

摘要


從本世紀開始,「中文熱」成為華語教學的代名詞,除了揭示出華語教學在世界上的熱度以外,同時也表示華語教學的迅速發展;從政府方面,所實施的「推動全球華語文教育八年計畫」(自西元2013 至 2021 年),以邁向全球華語文教育產業輸出大國為願景。看出在現今的華語教學迅速發展中,試圖想由上而下之姿態,帶領台灣華語教學。然而,熱潮是可以帶領台灣華語教學前進的動力抑或是阻力,政府大力培育華語師資,真正了解目前市場動態或走向,進而,建構出的華語教學事真實熱潮或是想像。 本研究試圖以女性主義敘事學,重新詮釋台灣華語教學的真實面貌,以敘述聲音的角度進行詮釋,透過文本的分析解釋市場走向以及華語教學面臨到的性/別關係。以後設角度及現象的反思進行敘寫,並且蒐集西元2006年起至2016年年底的文獻進行分析,將近十年台灣華語教學的面貌重新梳理,以不同的角度分析,發現世界華語的中文熱潮到台灣來卻消失的情況,然而,在台灣的華語教師卻走不出去的現象。 透過市場分析,可以確立華語教學市場的前瞻性;進一步,以台灣華語教學現況及台灣華語教師的飽和,透過性別的角度進行分析,將女性主義敘事學中,對於權力的話語分布套用至現況中,揭示出台灣華語教師以女性居多,其中涵蓋的是華人社會對於華語教師職位的文化圖像,也代表對華語教師的社會期待;其實在權力話語敘述中,華語教師是屬於失聲的一群。 以敘事學方法解讀台灣華語教學熱潮,所揭示的不僅是對於現況的描述,而是在現況之中,提出台灣華語教師該如何與世界接軌;現況的問題,同時也是社會對於華語教師的期待與想像。在台灣華語教學中,不該讓熱潮退去,而是延續熱潮,創造積極並值得期待的圖像,唯有如此,才能延續文化,創造華語教學發展的無限可能。 最後,以敘事學方法分析台灣華語教學熱潮,透過以文獻梳理方法,重新解讀台灣華語教學所面臨的問題與現況,試圖將現象面呈現,重新觀看社會文化對於華語教師的圖像,創造出更多台灣華語教學的可能,期待台灣華語教學能創造出更多不同的走向。

Since the beginning of this century, "Chinese language fever" has become synonymous in the world. Apart from revealing the popularity of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language(TCSL) in the world, it also indicates the rapid development of TCSL. From the government's perspective, it has implemented the "Global Chinese Language Education Initiative." The "Year Plan" (from 2013 to 2021) has taken the vision of becoming a major exporter of the global TCSL industry. It can be seen that in today’s rapid development of TCSL, it is trying to lead us. The government is cultivating the teachers of TCSL to truly understand the current market dynamics or trends, and then construct a genuine upsurge or imagination of TCSL. This study attempts to reinterpret the true face of TCSL in terms of feminist narratology, interpret it from the perspective of narrative voice, explain the market trend through textual analysis and the sex/sexual relationship facing TCSL. Later, we set up reflections on perspectives and phenomena, and collect and analyze the literature from 2006 to the end of 2016, and reorganize the teaching of Chinese language in Taiwan for the last ten years. From a different perspective, we will discover that the trend has disappeared when it comes to Taiwan. The interpretation of the upsurge of TCSL by narratological methods reveals not only the description of the current situation, but also the status of how Chinese teachers in Taiwan should be connection with the world; the current situation is also a social expectation for Chinese teachers. In the TCSL, we should not allow the enthusiasm to retreat, but continue the upsurge and create positive and worthy futures. Only in this way can we continue our culture and create the limitless possibilities for the development of TCSL.
