電腦週邊裝置產業隨著電腦產業的科技S曲線發展,產品線快速更迭。在快速變動的趨勢中,電腦週邊裝置持續創新。平板電腦風潮在Apple iPad產品大量出貨的帶領下,消費者正在改變對電腦的使用習慣,另一波的電腦產業更新進行中。 本文運用次級資料分析,電腦週邊裝置產業廠商在因應市場快速變化以及強大的競爭下,為保持企業的成長與創造價值,而持續不斷的創新。掌握獨特的創新優勢得以生存,要能達成創新的目標,需要擬定企業的創新策略,透過策略的執行,企業創造新的價值傳達給顧客。 本文藉由針對個案公司的研究,分析電腦週邊裝置產業的創新行為,所得的結論如下: 1. 可以從三個顧客向度模擬其創新模式。向度一:尚未消費任何產品的顧客。向度二:尚未獲得滿足的顧客。向度三:過度滿足的顧客。 2. 電腦週邊裝置產業持續進行延續性創新,提供產品給尚未獲得滿足的顧客。透過降低規格的破壞性創新以滿足低階市場的顧客及過度滿足的顧客。 3. 新一代的電腦控制發展趨勢--觸控、甚至聲控及手勢操控,需要有破壞性創新來滿足尚未消費電腦週邊裝置產品的顧客。
The change on PC peripheral industry follows the technical developing s-curve as well as PC industrial development that a typical characteristic is shorter product life cycle. Apple iPad launch noted a new trend of innovation toward tablet PCs in the PC industries. The study is to induce the innovation model in PC peripheral industry based on the case study to LGT Company. This paper indicates the following 3 findings, which applied Christensen’s Innovation Theory, by analyzing the innovation of the PC peripheral firm as below. 1. Observe 3 segments of customers of PC peripheral to monitor the market change by a. the customers haven’t bought any product, b. the customers haven’t been satisfied, c. the customers have been over satisfied. 2. Make a sustaining innovation to supply those customers who haven’t been satisfied. Make a disruptive innovation to aiming the entry– level market and the market that those customers who have been over satisfied. 3. The trend of next generation of control technology like touching even voice or gesture control may apply disruptive innovation to satisfy those customers who haven’t bought any product.
