Abstract In this research, a self-narrative inquiry is used to analyze my teacher’s career development of being an secondary school counselor. Through the narrative and introspection of my life experiences, understand what are the important events in my career development, find out the factors that affects transition and adjustment on these events. Besides, examine my life experience by two concepts of "career adaptability" and planned happenstance theory ", find out the new possibilities for my career development in the future, and I hope this study can provide some edification and energy for people who want to be a school counselor, find beliefs of education, or to meet with transition in career development.
