教科書視覺設計在美感教育上的深具意義,且良好的視覺設計有助益於學習效能之提升,本研究以康軒出版社及光村圖書之五冊教科書為研究樣本,採用視覺檢測法瞭解臺灣與日本一年級國語科書之間在視覺設計上的異同,並透過訪談法,邀請四位教授過國語文且具美感相關背景的國小教師參與本研究,瞭解教師對於臺灣與日本一年級國語教科書的視覺設計之看法。 研究結論如下:一、康軒教科書在體例編排上因有注音需求故較光村教科書紊亂;二、受訪教師普遍認同康軒出版與光村圖書之教科書體例編排,惟康軒教科書之字體及行距宜適度調整;三、光村教科書在版面編排上較康軒教科書為嚴謹;四、受訪教師認為康軒教科書版面過於豐富、熱鬧,宜提升留白率、拘束率;五、光村教科書的圖版風格較康軒教科書多元;六、康軒教科書與光村教科書在色彩使用的偏好差別不大;七、教師認為教科書宜在使用暖色調的基礎下,多元使用各色相編排教科書。期能透過研究結果,供教科書出版業者做為教科書視覺設計上的建議。 關鍵詞:教科書、視覺設計、美感教育
The Visual design of textbooks is meaningful in aesthetic education. A good visual design can enhance students’ learning performance. This study is to provide suggestions for textbook publishers on the visual design of textbooks by utilizing the contents of five textbooks from Kang-Hsuan and Mitsumura Tosho Publishing as samples to discuss the difference of language textbooks’ visual design between Taiwan and Japan based on the method of visual testing. In order to understand the perspectives of language textbooks’ visual design between Taiwan and Japan, the study constructed a semi-structured interview with four teachers, who has the experience of teaching Chinese and aesthetic background. The results were as following: 1. The style arrangement of Kang-Hsuan textbook is more disorganized than Mitsumura Tosho’s textbook due to the Zhuyin format in word contents. 2. Most interviewees have positive perceptions for stylistic rules and layout of both Kang-Hsuan and Mitsumura Tosho textbook, but the font and line spacing in Kang-Hsuan textbook should be adjusted appropriately. 3. The layout of Mitsumura Tosho textbook is more organized than Kang-Hsuan textbook. 4. In the interviewees’ opinon, the layout of Kang-Hsuan textbook is too abundant, the blank-leaving and confine ratio should be improved. 5. The illustration styles in Mitsumura Tosho textbooks are more diversified than Kang-Hsuan textbooks. 6. The color usage preferences between Kang-Hsuan and Mitsumura Tosho textbooks are similar. 7. The interviewees believe that based on the concept of applying warm colors, multiple colors should be used to arrange textbooks. Through the research results, we can provide textbook publishers with suggestions for the visual design of textbooks. Keywords: textbook, visual design, aesthetic education
