使用熱處理改善奈米碳管/環氧樹脂複合材之分散性

摘要


奈米碳管/高分子複合材被廣泛的使用在各項工程領域與產品上,但實際應用上,奈米碳管在高分子基材中有容易分散不均勻,以及高分子與奈米碳管表面包覆不良好,造成機械強度、電性…等與理想值有顯著的差異。本研究發現,經由數次的加溫熱處理,便能有效改善奈米碳管在複合材中之分散程度與表面包覆情形,SEM數據直接的地顯示出熱處理後奈米碳管在高分子基材中分散更為均勻,利用電性量測、熱傳導分析來探討複合材料中電子與聲子的傳遞途徑在熱處理前後已經改變,證實了使用一種簡單且無破壞性的方式,不僅能改善碳管在複合材料中的分散性,進一步強化複合材料的電性與機械強度。

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) have drawn much attention in recent years and can be composited with polymers for various purposes of engineering. CNTs are difficult to be dispersed in polymer matrix, therefore, CNTs-composites are always challenged by weakness arising from interfaces and tube aggregation. In this research, we find a facile method by heat treatment that loaded CNTs can be redistributed in epoxy matrix and mechanical, thermal and electrical properties are improved accordingly.
