桃園市新屋區石牌社區埤塘與聚落發展歷程之研究

摘要

桃園台地素有「千塘之鄉」的美名，埤塘水圳發展，已有一百多年的歷史。其所具備的埤圳的網絡系統與桃園台地的特殊地質、地形，皆是少有的自然景觀。由埤塘與水圳所建構而成的人文自然地景，構桃園台地特殊的自然景觀生態體系與人文聚落生活文化。
但近年埤塘相關研究都主要偏向於水利、生態，對於埤塘與周圍聚落地景的討論卻略為少數。特別是2004年的「桃園縣埤塘水圳新生整體發展計畫」更改變了埤塘及周邊聚落之關係。
本研究試圖從文化景觀的內涵及架構埤塘聚落文化景觀保存機制的角度為出發點，以桃園市新屋區石牌社區埤塘聚落為例，來探討新屋區埤塘聚落與自然環境間的互動，以及在聚落發展過程中遺留的埤塘文化、聚落地景、歷史空間、自然景觀等元素與地區居民的生活轉變，並進一步探討新屋區石牌社區埤塘聚落地景發展歷程文化景觀的保存價值。
研究方法藉由調查分析，確認石牌社區聚落的文化景觀的條件。以作為其重要聚落地景保存基礎。希望藉由本研究提出石牌社區埤塘聚落地景保存的價值，見證桃園台地埤塘保存的必要性，並提出保存建議後續研究的方向。

Taoyuan Terrace is known as the "Hometown of Ponds". It has a history of more than 100 years. The network system of irrigation pond and the special geology and topography of the Taoyuan terrace are rare natural landscapes. The natural landscape of humanity constructed by irrigation pond and Minamata constitutes a special natural landscape ecosystem and a human settlement life culture in Taoyuan.
However, in recent years, the related researches in irrigation pond are mainly towards water conservancy and ecology. The discussion on the landscape of irrigation pond and the surrounding area is rare. In particular, the 2004 "Taoyuan County Water facilities Freshmen Overall Development Plan" changed the relationship between irrigation pond and surrounding settlements.
This study attempts to explore the interaction between the irrigation ponds and settlement in the Xinwu District. It takes the cultural connotation and the structure of the cultural landscape preservation mechanism of the irrigation pond settlement as the starting point by taking the irrigation pond settlement of the Shipai Community in Xinwu District of Taoyuan City as an example. It illustrates the changes in the life of the irrigation pond culture, the landscaping, the historical space, the natural landscape and other areas left in the development of the settlement, and further explore the preservation value of the cultural landscape of the development of the squatting community in the Xinwu District.
The research confirms the conditions of the cultural landscape of the Shipai community settlement through investigation and analysis. This study aims to present the value of the preservation of the Shipi community's irrigation pond, and witness the necessity of preserving the ponds in Taoyuan, and propose the further.
